STORYLINE
The Huskies go on the road to Millersville's Pucillo Field to square off against the 18th-ranked Marauders in the PSAC opener for both teams. Bloomsburg enters with a 1-1 overall record, having beaten Felician in the home opener before suffering a 2-0 loss at Wheeling Jesuit over the weekend. Millersville, meanwhile, is off to a 2-0 start after earning victories over Chowan and West Virginia Wesleyan.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Wednesday's meeting will be the 52nd in the all-time series. The Marauders own a 31-15-5 edge in the all-time series against the Huskies. Last season, Millersville swept Bloomsburg in a pair of contests including a 1-0 victory in the PSAC Semifinals last November. The Marauders knocked off the Huskies, 3-0, at Steph Pettit Stadium in the regular season matchup.

ABOUT BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies shutout Felician, 1-0, at Steph Pettit Stadium on Thursday, September 1 to open the season but then dropped a 2-0 decision on the road at Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday, September 3. Redshirt junior Austin Transue (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy), who led the Huskies with 13 goals and 30 points a year ago, has scored the team's lone goal this season on a penalty kick against Felician in the opener. Redshirt junior goalkeeper Jacob Pesarcik (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall), who started a total of four games in his first two seasons, has started both games so far in 2016. He is 1-1 with a 1.00 goals against average and an .857 save percentage. He posted his third career shutout in the victory over Felician. Transue has taken 10 of Bloomsburg's 29 shot attempts through two games. Redshirt junior Nick Geller (York, Pa./West York), junior Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional), and sophomore Nick DiBiase (East Hanover, N.J./DePaul Catholic) are next on the team with three shots apiece. 

ABOUT MILLERSVILLE
The Marauders are 2-0 after posting home victories over Chowan (2-0) on Thursday, September 1 and West Virginia Wesleyan (3-2) on Sunday, September 4. Millersville was rewarded by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) by being ranked 18th in the country according to the rankings released on Tuesday. The Marauders are one of two teams from the PSAC ranked in the top 25 in the country. Five different players have scored goals for Millersville while four other players have registered an assist. Kyle Finsterbush and Jacob Gosselin have scored the game-winning goals in the first two games. Darian McCauley has started both games in goal and is 2-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and an .857 save percentage.
