STORYLINE
Bloomsburg looks to earn its first conference win of the season at home on Sunday (Oct. 15).
ALL-TIME SERIES
East Stroudsburg leads the all-time series 35-13-2.
LAST MEETING
The Warriors won 2-0 in Bloomsburg back on Oct. 19, 2016 on two goals in the first 10 minutes of play.
Hamilton Rodkey (Verona, Pa./Penn Hills) led the Huskies with two shots in the contest, while
Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, N.J./Mount Olive) and
Mike Bazadona III (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) each fired one.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies dropped their PSAC match on Friday (Oct. 13) at Seton Hill 3-1. Seton Hill took a 2-0 lead 23 minutes in, and led by the same score at the half. Bloomsburg wasted little time responding in the second half, after a Seton Hill infraction set up
Tyler Madeira (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) for a free kick from 30 yards out in the 51
st minute. Madeira's kick was knocked down by Griffins keeper Jacin Smith, before Rodkey established position on the doorstep and put it in over the top of Smith. Rodkey's first of the season cut the deficit in half. A Seton Hill goal later in the second half would put the match on ice.
Austin Transue (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) fired four shots in the contest, putting two on net.
Samuel Izzo (Frankford, Del./Indian River) also recorded three shots, while
Brian Kilcoyne (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and
Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) each registered two.
Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, N.J./Mount Olive),
Kacper Grycel (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus),
Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York),
Duncan Mitchell (Glen Rock, Pa./Susquehannock) and
Sebastian Callender (Middleburg, Pa./Midd-West) each contributed one. Lesage made four saves in the loss.
The Warriors defeated Pitt-Johnstown 7-0 on Friday (Oct. 15) at home. Irvin Zuzic opened the scoring in the 10
th minute, before doubling his team's lead in the 23
rd minute. The Warriors led 2-0 at the half, and picked right back up in the second half. Keelby Espinola notched his second of the season in the 50
th minute, while Brandon Levano scored via penalty kick in the 66
th minute. Later in the match, the Warriors scored three times in 1:36, with two coming from Anton Lysell (80
