Box Score BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost their Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match to visiting East Stroudsburg 1-0 on Sunday (Oct. 15).
The Warriors scored the lone goal in the eighth minute when Lata Petros created space for himself and lofted a service ball into the box. A hard-charging Eddy Enowbi deflected the ball past Huskies keeper
Taylor Lesage (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) out of mid-air for his sixth of the season.
The Huskies fired seven shots as a team, and also earned four corner kicks in the match.
Austin Transue (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) and
Samuel Izzo (Frankford, Del./Indian River) each had two shots, while
Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, N.J./Mount Olive),
Kristopher Gross (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) and
Kevin Rodriguez (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) each registered one. Lesage made four saves in the loss.
The Huskies are back at home on Wednesday (Oct. 18) when they host Millersville in a clash of PSAC rivals. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at Bloomsburg's Steph Pettit Stadium.
