STORYLINE
Bloomsburg looks to get its first conference win of the season on its home turf against conference rival Shippensburg on Wednesday (Oct. 4). The Huskies jump back into action after having nine days away from game action.

Bloomsburg is 20-25-3 all-time versus Shippensburg.
LAST MEETING
The Huskies defeated the Raiders 3-1 at home back on Oct. 29, 2016 to conclude the regular season.
Austin Transue (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) opened the scoring in the 11
th minute, before
Samuel Izzo (Frankford, Del./Indian River) padded the home team's lead in the 37
th minute. Shippensburg cut the lead in half in the 52
nd minute, before
Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) iced the match with a goal in the 71
st minute.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies fell at West Chester 4-1 all the way back on Sept. 24.
Matt Goodall (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) scored the lone Huskies goal in the 45

Taylor Lesage (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) made 13 saves in the contest.
The Raiders fell 4-1 at Seton Hill in PSAC play back on Saturday (Sept. 30). The Griffins built their 4-0 lead on one first half goal followed by three second half goals in just over 10 minutes. Jan Striewe spoiled the shutout bid on a penalty kick goal with three minutes to play. Matt Harder made four saves in net for the Raiders.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
On the season,
Mike Bazadona III (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West)'s three goals and six points lead the team. Transue (2 G, 1 A) and
Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York) (5 A) each have five points on the season.
Kristopher Gross (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) also has four points on two goals. Four other Huskies have recorded points on the season. Lesage is the mainstay in net for BU, owning a 2.87 goals-against-average and a .661 save percentage. He has made 39 total saves in seven matches.
