STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University softball team hits the road for Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) doubleheaders at IUP and at Mansfield this weekend.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies come into the weekend having won 10 of their last 11 games, and are 21-13 (11-1 PSAC) on the season. Bloomsburg as a team is third in the conference with a .305 batting average and is fourth with a 2.33 team ERA.
 
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) leads the team with a .389 batting average, 44 hits and 28 runs scored on the year. Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) follows with a .346 average at the plate with a team-high six home runs and 25 RBI this season.
 
In the circle, Parker is tied for fifth in the conference with 11 wins and is third with 122 strikeouts. Parker has an ERA of 1.85 and has registered 14 complete games on the season.
 
Additionally, Mallory Tomaschik (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) has an ERA of 2.11 to go along with eight wins and 88 strikeouts in 83.0 innings of work.
 
SCOUTING IUP
Hannah Mercer leads the Crimson Hawks with a .374 batting average and 40 hits on the season, while also scoring 18 runs and driving in 13 teammates. Following Mercer is Kaitlyn Beers, who has 33 hits and a team-leading 17 RBI to go along with a .327 average at the plate.
 
In the circle, Lauren Zola leads IUP with seven wins, 96 strikeouts and 11 complete games on the year.
 
SCOUTING MANSFIELD
Koryn Wickwire is tops on the Mounties' lineup with a .413 batting average while Laura Lawson is batting .406 with a team-high 39 hits and five triples for the year.
 
In the circle, Arianna Young leads the staff with a 12-4 record, 2.12 ERA and 13 complete games in 16 start this season. Sierra Storm is behind Young with five wins and 32 strikeouts in 65.1 innings of action.
