STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University softball team returns to the friendly confines of Jan M. Hutchinson field for a non-conference doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom on Monday afternoon.

The Huskies, in conjunction with an earlier fundraiser by the women's basketball team, announced that it will be holding a fundraiser to raise awareness for Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, or HIE, during Monday's contests.

Donations will be accepted at the field and raffle tickets will be available for three themed gift baskets. Prices are $2 for one ticket and $5 for three. Winners will be announced during the games.

"Huskies For HIE", as it will be called, will benefit the Antolick family as their three-year-old son, Luke, has been diagnosed with the rare disease.

Bloomsburg University head women's basketball coach, AlisonTagliaferri, is close friends with Luke's parents, Alyson and Lance, and wanted to do something to help the family with their medical bills.
