STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University softball team travels for two games at Pitt-Johnstown on Friday afternoon, before returning to the friendly confines of Jan M. Hutchinson field for their regular season finale against Lock Haven on Saturday. As of Wednesday morning, Lock Haven is two games behind Bloomsburg in the PSAC Central division standings.Â

LAST MEETING AGAINST PITT-JOHNSTOWN
The Huskies hosted the Lady Cats two weeks ago on April 14, and swept both games by a score of 8-0. In game one,
Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) allowed one hit and strukc out 14 batters, while
Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) and
Emily Getz (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown)Â combined to go 5-for-6 with four runs scored.
In the second contest,
Mallory Tomaschik (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) tossed a complete game and recorded 10 strikeouts, and homered at the plate.
Bridget Casey (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) drove in and scored a run.
LAST MEETING AGAINST LOCK HAVEN
On April 8, the Huskies split a pair of games with the Bald Eagles in Lock Haven, with each team picking up a 4-3 win.
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) hit a three-RBI double in the seventh inning of game one. In the second game,
Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) hit a two-run home run, and
Emily Getz (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) hit a two-RBI single.

Sophomore
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) is Bloomsburg's top hitter on the season. In 130 at-bats, she has a .362 average with 47 hits, a team high. Behind Winkelman, senior

Mallory Tomaschik (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) (10-7), has been Bloomsburg's top arm this season, holding a 1.88 ERA in 100.1 innings of work. She has allowed 44 runs (27 earned) on 78 hits, 18 walks, and 114 strikeouts. Behind Tomaschik, Parker (13-6) has a 2.11 ERA in 139 innings. SCOUTING PITT-JOHNSTOWN
The Lady Cats come into the doubleheader with a record of 14-20 (3-13 PSAC) on the year, and are looking to break a three-game losing streak.
Morgan Cannin leads UPJ's lineup as she is hitting .321 with 36 hits and nine walks on the season. Additionally, Marley Elbin has recorded a .314 batting average to go along with a home run, 11 RBI and 33 hits. Amanda O'Toole leads the team with two home runs and is second behind Montana Mang with 13 RBI this year. Mang has driven in 16 runs and has a team-high seven doubles on the year.
In the circle, Melissa Wagner leads the team with 10 wins, a 2.16 ERA and 16 complete games.Wagner has thrown 113.2 innings, striking out 80 batters and allowing just 35 earned runs on the season.Â

SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
The Bald Eagles entered their doubleheader on Friday, April 28 against Clarion on a six-game winning streak, winning three doubleheaders against Mansfield, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and Bloomfield. Senior McKenna Garlock is Lock Haven's top hitter this season, batting .388 in 116 at-bats. She leads the team in hits (45), doubles (12), home runs (7), and RBI (30). Behind Garlock, sophomore Faith Ceely is hitting .306 in 124 at-bats, with 38 hits, three doubles, a triple, and eight RBI. Sophomore Becca Caputo and senior Makaylah Holbert have two home runs and over 30 hits, with Caputo recording 32 and Holbert tallying 31.Â

In the circle, sophomore Bekah Slattery is 13-8 with a 3.21 ERA on the season. In 137.1 innings, she has allowed 69 runs (49 earned) on 130 hits, 49 walks, and 111 strikeouts. In 115.2 innings of work, senior Rachel Mouillesseaux is 10-8 with a 3.35 ERA this season. She has allowed 56 runs (43 earned) on 108 hits, 39 walks, and 105 strikeouts. Â Â
