West Chester, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team fell to rival West Chester, 18-11, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup on Wednesday afternoon

With the loss, the Huskies fell to 6-4 (3-3 PSAC), while the Golden Rams moved to 6-2, (3-1 PSAC).

Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) (3 goals), Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) (2 goals) and Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) (2 goals) led the way for Bloomsburg, who has now lost its' last two games in a row on the road.

Turner fired a shot past the goalie to trim the West Chester lead to 4-2, but a quick, three-goal barrage in 1:57 of game time boosted the purple and gold's lead to 7-2 with just under 19 minutes remaining in the half.

The two teams would then trade goals for the remaining minutes in the first half, with the Golden Rams taking a 13-7 advantage into the break.

As they have all year, the Huskies came out of the locker room firing to begin the final 30 minutes, scoring two quick goals to make it a 13-9 lead in favor of west Chester with 23:09 left to play.

The Golden Rams once again responded with three goals to effectively put the game away, 16-9, with seven minutes left in the contest. Each team would add two more goals in the game's final minutes.
