Greensburg, Pa. –
Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West)'s goal with 48 seconds left in overtime helped propel the Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team to a 9-8 victory over Seton Hill on Friday afternoon.

With the win, the Huskies moved to 7-4 (4-3 PSAC), while the Griffins dropped to 6-5, (4-3 PSAC) on the season. Bloomsburg also snapped Seton Hill's four-game winning streak, dating back to March 21.

Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) led the way with three goals and two assists, while
Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) added two scores.
Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) also recorded a career-high 15 saves, her third contest with double-digit saves this season.

Kyne and Collins put the Huskies on the board with respective goals at the 28:43 mark and the 26:04 mark of the first half. Collins assisted on Kyne's goal for her seventh helper of the year.

Seton Hill responded with three of the next four goals to tie the game at 3-3 with 13:52 left in the half. Jaskuta put herself on the board with her 15
th of the season, giving Bloomsburg a 4-3 lead that would last for the next six-plus minutes, until a Griffins' goal tied the game, 4-4.

Rusen would add in a score before the half to put the Huskies up, 5-4, heading into the break.

Seton Hill would register the first goal of the second half, but Bloomsburg used scores from Rusen and Jaskuta to extend its' lead to 7-5 with 19:29 remaining in the game.

The Griffins would mount a comeback from that point, scoring the next three goals, including on from Christine Palmeri with 6:53 left to take an 8-7 lead, their first of the game.

Seton hill would hold that lead for the next five minutes and change, until Jaskuta's third goal of the game with 1:36 remaining knotted up the game, and would be the last score before the extra period.

In the overtime, the Huskies controlled possession, and saw a
Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) shot turned away by goalie, Hailey Jacobs. The next Bloomsburg shot would be the last of the game, as Turner flung it past Jacobs into the back of the net to seal the road victory.

The Huskies outshot the Griffins, 34-25, and posted a 31-23 advantage in ground balls for the afternoon.

The Huskies will stay on the road and head to IUP on Saturday for a PSAC contest. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
