 STORYLINE

The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team looks to rebound and get its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win of the season.

ALL-TIME SERIES

Bloomsburg is 3-12 all-time versus Gannon.

LAST TIME OUT

The Huskies dropped an overtime contest 2-1 at Lock Haven on Wednesday (Sept. 13). A penalty kick goal put the Bald Eagles ahead in the 22nd minute, and that lone goal held for most of the match. Kristopher Gross (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) tied the match in the 86th minute to force extra time, before a Lock Haven goal in the 94th minute ended the contest. Taylor Lesage (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) made five saves in the contest.

The Golden Knights are coming off a 3-2 win at Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday (Sept. 13). George Stannard, Mathias Krigbaum and Luis Driemel each scored for Gannon in the win. Jorge Hernandez made three saves in the win.

LAST MEETING

The Huskies and Golden Knights met in Bloomsburg back on Sept. 9, 2016. The match ended in a 2-2 draw after regulation and double-overtime. Austin Transue (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) and Mike Bazadona recorded assists in the contest. Bloomsburg held a 2-0 lead going into the final 10 minutes before two late Gannon goals forced extra time and ultimately a draw.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG

The Huskies come into the match having six different scorers so far on the year. Transue, Bazadona and Gross each have two, while Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) and Brian Kilcoyne (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) each have one. Lesage has made 12 saves in four matches on the season.
