BU men's soccer looks to get their first conference win of the year at home against the Mercyhurst Lakers on Friday (Sept. 22).

LAST MEETING
Mercyhurst defeated Bloomsburg 3-0 at Steph Pettit Stadium back on Sept. 10, 2016.
Duncan Mitchell (Glen Rock, Pa./Susquehannock) recorded two shots in the contest, while
Samuel Izzo (Frankford, Del./Indian River) registered one.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies dropped a PSAC contest at Gannon 3-0 back on Saturday (Sept. 16). Bloomsburg totaled eight shots in the contest, five of them on frame.
Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) fired three shots on net, while
Austin Transue (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) registered two. Mitchell,
Matt Goodall (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) and Izzo each recorded one shot in the contest.
Taylor Lesage (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) made nine saves in the loss.
The Lakers defeated Ohio Valley 2-0 on Tuesday (Sept. 19) on the road. Connor Wilkinson and Hunter Burri scored for the Lakers, while Alex Brems made eight saves in the shutout.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Transue,
Mike Bazadona III (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) and
Kristopher Gross (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) each have four points on two goals, while Milden has three points on one goal and one assist.
Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York) has three helpers for three points on the year as well, while
Brian Kilcoyne (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) has one goal for two points and
Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, N.J./Mount Olive) has one assist for one point. In net, Lesage has made 21 saves in five matches and owns a .618 save percentage on the year.
SCOUTING MERCYHURST
The Lakers are led offensively by Fjodor van Kipersluis, who has nine points on four goals and one assist. Christopher Makengo has six points on three goals, while Hady Sarr has four points on one goal and two assists on the year. Martin Jarc backstops the Lakers in goal, owning a 1.39 goals-against-average as well as a .762 save percentage.
