STORYLINE
Bloomsburg still looks for that first PSAC win of the season after falling to Mercyhurst 3-1 at home on Friday (Sept. 22).

The two teams played to a 0-0 2OT draw at West Chester back on Oct. 22, 2016. Brian Kilcoyne (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) each recorded three shots, while Mike Bazadona III (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West), Tyler Madeira (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) and Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, N.J./Mount Olive) each fired one.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg dropped a hard-fought contest against Mercyhurst 3-1 on Friday (Sept. 22). Mike Bazadona III (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West)'s goal proved to be too little too late for the home team, who dropped their second home match of the season. Lael Cherry (Castries, St. Lucia/Castries Comprehensive) led the Huskies in the shot department, registering three total and putting two on frame. Transue recorded two, while Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, N.J./Mount Olive), Duncan Mitchell (Glen Rock, Pa./Susquehannock) and Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) each fired one. Lesage made five saves in the contest.
 
The Golden Rams defeated Pitt-Johnstown 4-0 on the road on Friday (Sept. 22). Jason Pixley started the scoring in the 32nd minute, before Tyler Rapposelli scored 21 seconds later to double the lead. Rapposelli scored five minutes later for his second of the day to make it 3-0 in favor of the visitors. He would complete the hat trick in the 69th minute.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bazadona leads the Huskies with six points on three goals, while Transue has two goals and one assist for five points. Five other Huskies have recorded points on the season. Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York)'s four assists are tied atop the conference. Lesage owns a .619 save percentage on the year, and has made 26 saves through six matches.
 
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
West Chester is second in the league in scoring average, putting away 2.17 goals per game. As a team, they are tied for fourth with 13 goals in six matches. Rapposelli is tied for sixth in the league with six points on three goals. Matt Palmer leads the league in goals-against-average, with a mark of .237. His .875 save percentage also leads the league, while he has made only seven total saves on the season.

The Huskies are back at home to open the month of October when they welcome Shippensburg on the fourth. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Bloomsburg's Steph Pettit Stadium.
