STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team will look to make it four consecutive victories on Wednesday when it travels to Shippensburg to battle the Raiders. Bloomsburg is ranked tenth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll while Shippensburg, also winners of three straight, is fourth in the region.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Shippensburg leads the all-time series, 26-21-3, against Bloomsburg. Last season, the Raiders earned a 1-0 double-overtime victory over the Huskies at Steph Pettit Stadium. Cole Kropnick scored the lone goal in the 101st minute to make a winner of Garret Watson who stopped six shots in goal for the Raiders. Taylor Lesage (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) was credited with one save in the loss for the Huskies.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
After a four-game losing streak, the Huskies have now won three consecutive matches to improve to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the PSAC standings. Bloomsburg played just one match last week and earned a 2-1 decision over visiting Daemen College last Wednesday. Junior Tyler Madeira (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) scored both Huskies' goals while sophomore goalkeeper Brock Gould (York, Pa./Red Lion) made his fourth consecutive start and posted three saves in the victory. With his two goals against the Wildcats, Madeira has now scored each of Bloomsburg's last four goals after he led the Huskies to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over West Chester on Sunday, September 23, to snap the Golden Rams' 22-match unbeaten streak in conference play. Over his last three games, Madeira has four goals and two assists for ten points and, with his offensive outburst, has moved into a tie for third in the PSAC in both goals (5) and points (12). Sophomore Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York) is second on the team with one goal and two assists for four points while junior Mike Bazadona III (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) and sophomore Thomas King (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) each have a goal and an assist for three points. Senior, Kevin Rodriguez (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove), juniors Evan Novian (Baltimore, Md./Loyola Blakefield) and Matt Goodall (Perry Hall, Md./Perry Hall), and sophomore Kacper Grycel (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) have also scored goals on the year. Gould has started each of the last four matches in goal and is 3-1 with a 1.50 goals against average and an .806 save percentage. Sophomore Trey Orner (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) started the first five contests and is 2-3 with a 1.80 goals against average and a .710 save percentage on the year.

SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
Shippensburg enters the contest with a 7-2 overall record overall and a 3-1 record in conference play. The Raiders are on their own three-game winning streak after defeating Lock Haven, East Stroudsburg, and Seton Hill - all by one-goal margins. In its most recent win over Seton Hill on Saturday, Cole Kropnick scored his ninth goal of the season while also tallying an assist. Erik Esipnoza scored the other Raider goal in the victory. Kropnick currently leads the PSAC in both goals (9) and points (19). In addition to his goals, he has added one assist on the year. Patrick Luebben follows with 11 points on four goals and three assists. He is tied for seventh in the conference in points. In total, 11 different players for Shippensburg have recorded at least one point on the year. Garret Watson has started every game in goal for Shippensburg and has a record of 7-2. He has recorded three shutouts, a 1.07 goals against average, and a .780 save percentage.
