Hawkins got all of the offense she needed in the first half when senior Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) put the Huskies on the board with her fourth goal of the season off of an assist from sophomore Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) in the 17th minute. Barber has now scored in three consecutive matches with all three of those goals proving to be the game-winner. Hoelke, meanwhile, extended her team lead in assists to four with the helper.

Later in the half, sophomore Jamie Marsico (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) potted her first goal of the season in the 42nd minute to extend the Huskies lead to 2-0. It was her third collegiate goal and her first since September 19, 2017 when she scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-0 win over Mansfield.

Bloomsburg outshot Shippensburg, 10-3, in the opening 45 minutes.

Sophomore Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) put the icing on the cake for the Huskies when she netted a penalty kick goal in the 83rd minute to extend the advantage to 3-0. It was Holmes' second goal of the season - both coming on penalty kicks.

The Huskies held a 25-5 advantage in shots for the match and blanked the Raiders in corner kick opportunities, 8-0. Hawkins earned her PSAC-leading seventh shutout of the season as she was credited with four saves. She improved to 7-2-1 on the season and lowered her goals against average to 0.40. Delaney Shifflett stopped 12 Bloomsburg shots in the loss as her record dropped to 5-5 on the year.
