STORYLINE
With three games left in the regular season, the Bloomsburg University field hockey team finds itself one game out of a playoff spot as the Huskies trail both Mansfield and, Wednesday's opponent, Millersville in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) standings. Bloomsburg enters Wednesday's contest on a modest two-game winning streak while the Marauders have won three consecutive games.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Millersville, 44-17-4. The Huskies snapped a ten-game losing skid against the Marauders back on September 25 after a 3-2 victory in Millersville. Sophomore Emily Alker (Cresco, Pa./Pocono Mountain East), senior Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia), and junior Tesa Hoffman (Freeburg, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) all scored while sophomore Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) stopped a season-high tying eight shots in the victory. Erica Tarsi, the reigning PSAC Player of the Week, scored both goals for the Marauders in the loss.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg is seventh in the league with a 9-5 overall record and a 3-4 mark in league play - one game behind both Millersville and Mansfield which hold the final two playoff spots. The Huskies have won back-to-back matches - a 2-1 victory over Mansfield last Tuesday afternoon and a 1-0 win at Mercyhurst on Saturday. Against the Mountaineers, senior Tali Wehner (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) scored a goal and added an assist while freshman Arden Morgans (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) also scored for the Huskies who had to hold off a Mansfield rally in the second half. Junior Willow Perkins (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) scored her first goal of the season in the win over the Lakers. Sophomore Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) posted eight saves against Mansfield and then turned aside one shot against Mercyhurst for her third shutout of the season. Junior Tesa Hoffman (Freeburg, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) leads the Huskies in scoring with career-highs in goals (5), assists (5), and points (15). She is tied for seventh in the conference in assists. Senior Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) has also established career-bests in goals (5), assists (4), and points (14) this season. Wehner and junior Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) are next with each posting two goals and three assists for seven points. Eleven other players have at least one point on the season - ten of those with at least one goal - to help a balanced scoring attack. Defensively, senior Jackie Shragher (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) is tied for fourth in the PSAC with two defensive saves. In goal, Sheply and sophomore Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) have split time. Barnard started the first five contests and is 4-1 with a 1.08 goals against average and an .824 save percentage. Sheply has started the last nine and is 5-4 with a 1.36 goals against average and an .812 save percentage. She leads the league in save percentage, is tied for third in shutouts with three, is fifth in goals against average, and is fourth in saves per game (5.78).
