STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team steps out of conference play on Tuesday afternoon as it heads to Lakewood, New Jersey to battle the 17th-ranked Lions of Georgian Court University. The Huskies have won four of their last five contests and are coming off of a 4-1 victory over Slippery Rock University on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Lions lost for just the second time on the season when Felician handed them a 2-1 loss, also on Saturday. That setback snapped a ten-game winning streak after opening the season with a loss to American International.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The two teams met for the first time last season with Georgian Court prevailing by a 1-0 final in Bloomsburg. Javel Dawkins scored the lone goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute. Shots were even at 10-10 with Taylor Lesage (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) making two saves for the Huskies in a losing effort.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg bounced back from a 2-1 loss at Shippensburg last Wednesday to knock off visiting Slippery Rock University, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon during Homecoming Weekend. Junior Tyler Madeira (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) became the first Huskies' player to record a hat trick in a game since Karl Lohninger scored three times in a 9-1 win over Bloomfield College on October 18, 2003. Junior Bawe Salehi (Alingsas, Sweden/Alstromer Gymnasiet) put the Huskies on the board with his first goal in a Bloomsburg uniform while sophomore Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York) had three assists in the victory. Over the last five contests, Madeira has seven goals and two assists for 16 points. He scored four consecutive Bloomsburg goals in back-to-back 2-1 wins over West Chester and Daemen on September 23 and September 26. All told, the junior has eight goals and two assists for 18 points putting him third in the PSAC in both goals and points. Meanwhile, Luckenbaugh's three assists on Saturday afternoon gave him a PSAC-leading six helpers on the year. He led the league in assists with 11 as a freshman a season ago. Madeira is also tied for third in the league in game-winning goals with three. Luckenbaugh is second on the team with one goal and six assists for eight points while sophomore Thomas King (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) is third with two goals and an assist for five points. Eight other players have registered at least one point on the season. Sophomore Brock Gould (York, Pa./Red Lion) has started each of the last six matches in goal and is 4-2 with a 1.50 goals against average and an .775 save percentage. Gould is second in the PSAC in saves per game (5.17) and ranks fourth in the league in save percentage. Sophomore Trey Orner (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) started the first five contests and is 2-3 with a 1.80 goals against average and a .710 save percentage on the year.

SCOUTING GEORGIAN COURT
Georgian Court enters Tuesday's contest ranked 17th in the country according to the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II poll. However, they suffered a 2-1 loss against Felician in their last time out on Saturday - just their second loss of the season. Georgian Court started the year with a 3-1 loss to American International then rattled off ten consecutive wins before Saturday's loss. Included in the winning streak was a 1-0 home victory over then-#16 West Chester. The Lions have outscored their opposition, 41-11, this season with Nicholas Moran leading the way with six goals and four assists for 16 points. Moran also has a team-high three game-winning goals on the year. Louis Silva is right behind with six goals and three assists for 15 points. Three others - Javel Dawkins (six goals), Vinicius Monteiro (four goals, three assists), and Daniel Vicente (three goals, four assists) - have also reached double digits in scoring this season. In goal, Jamie Hickey (eight starts) and Yianni Kavarakas (four starts) have split time. Hickey is 8-0 with five shutouts, a 0.75 goals against average, and an .818 save percentage. Kavarakas is 2-2 with a 1.25 goals against average and a .667 save percentage.
