SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are 4-2 on the season are coming off of a 77-62 victory over Chestnut Hill at the Nelson Field House on Tuesday night. It was a season-high in points for Bloomsburg, which had four players in double figures. Juniors Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) and Bella Ricci (Etters, Pa./Red Land) each had 16 points to lead the way while Emma Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) added 13 and Marissa Molnar (Erie, Pa./McDowell) chipped in with 12. Montana also pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds in the victory. The win was a solid bounce back after falling at Holy Family, 68-62 in overtime, on November 20. In that loss, senior Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) scored a career-high 26 points which included a career-best seven three-pointers - one shy of tying the school record of eight which has been accomplished three times in program history. Mack leads the team in scoring at 14.5 points per game which puts her 20th in the PSAC in scoring average. She had back-to-back games of at least 20 points prior to scoring only six in Tuesday's win over Chestnut Hill. Mack has three 20-point games this season - 10 overall - and is 141 points shy of reaching 1,000 for her collegiate career. Montana is also in double figures for the Huskies as she averages 12.3 points while pulling down 8.2 rebounds per game. She is 26th in the league in scoring but is tied for sixth in rebounding. Both players were All-PSAC East Second Team selections last season. Bloomsburg is 16th in the PSAC by averaging 62.5 points per game on offense. The Huskies are fifth in the league in scoring defense (59.0 ppg). Saxton (9.2 ppg) and Molnar (8.5 ppg) are also ones to watch for the Huskies in the scoring column. Ricci, meanwhile, has turned into a solid all-around provider for the Huskies as she averages 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds while leading the team with 18 assists.

SCOUTING GANNON
Gannon is 4-3 on the young season but has lost three of its last four contests after starting off the year with three straight victories. The Golden Knights are coming off of a 58-52 loss to Daemen on Wednesday evening. Nicole LaCava (13) and Tori Obenrader (11) were the only Gannon players in double figures. Obenrader also pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds for her second doube-double of the season. Chelsea Rourke ranks in the top three on the team in nearly every offensive category. She leads the team in scoring at 12.0 points per game and ranks third in rebounding (6.0) and assists (2.3). Rourke leads the Golden Knights in blocked shots (9), three-pointers (11), and field goal percentage (55.9%). Gannon is averaging 65.3 points per game offensively (12th in the PSAC) and allows 65.0 points per game to its opponents (6th in the PSAC). The Golden Knights are +4.1 in rebounding margin but have turned the ball over 154 times in seven games (22 per game). Gannon is -5.86 in turnover margin on the year - 15th in the PSAC.

SCOUTING EDINBORO
The Fighting Scots, who play at West Chester on Saturday afternoon, are ranked 19th in the country according to the WBCA Division II poll. Edinboro was 11th in the preseason poll but its loss to then-#18 Virginia Union dropped them eight spots. Edinboro is fifth in the PSAC in scoring offense (72.3 ppg) but only 10th in scoring defense (66.7). Edinboro has not played since November 13 when it earned a 92-61 road win against Wheeling Jesuit.  The Fighting Scots trailed 26-20 after one quarter but outscored the Cardinals, 72-35, the rest of the way. Ciara Rosten posted her second double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds and led five players in double figures. Bridgette Shaffer had 11 points and 10 boards for her first double-double. Rosten averages 16.0 points and 11.7 rebounds in three games this season. She leads the PSAC in rebounding and blocked shots (2.7). Jontay Walton leads the team in scoring at 17.3 points per game - seventh in the PSAC. She is also tops on the team in assists (4.7) and steals (6). Walton is fifth in the league in assists per game. Michaela Barnes (12.7 ppg) and Michelle Jahn (12.0 ppg) are also in double figures. Those four have scored 173 of the team's 217 points (79.7%).
