ORLANDO, Fla. – The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team dropped the first match of their Spring Break trip to Bentley 8-1 on Saturday (Mar. 10) at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus.
Bentley won two out of three doubles matches before sweeping singles play.
Cassie Wentz (Windber, Pa./Winber Area) and
Catherine Garrity (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) won 8-5 over Alexia Petruzziello and Rachel Madden at No. 3 doubles for the Huskies only win.
Bentley moves to 13-6 with the win, while the Huskies fall to 0-2.
Bloomsburg returns to action on Monday (Mar. 12) when they take on Charleston. First serve for Monday's match is set for 8:00 a.m.
