STORYLINE
After a week of postponements and re-scheduling, the Huskies jump back into Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central division action at Lock Haven on Friday (Apr. 6) and at home against Clarion on Saturday (Apr. 7) for Senior Day. Bloomsburg will honor its eight seniors before the game in

SENIOR DAY
Casey has played in 98 games in her BU career, making 85 starts. She has hit to a .269 career batting average with 11 doubles, two home runs and 29 RBI while also scoring 36 runs. She owns a career slugging percentage of .371 and a .368 career on-base percentage (OBP). While patrolling the outfield, she also owns a career fielding percentage of .939. In the classroom, she was a three-year PSAC Scholar Athlete (2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17) as well as a 2016-17 D2 ADA Scholar Athlete. The Perkasie, Pa. native is the daughter of John and Susannah Casey, and is a supply chain management major. Upon graduation, Casey will be working as a business process lead at Barcalente Manufacturing Group.
Davies has appeared in 30 games over her Bloomsburg career, making eight starts. She owns a 5.04 career earned run average (ERA) in 76.1 innings. She also has a 5-5 career record and 47 career strikeouts. In the classroom, Davies was a PSAC Scholar Athlete in 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 while also being named a D2 ADA Scholar Athlete in 2016-17. The Mountain Top, Pa. native is the daughter of Harry and Ruth Davies, and is a supply chain management major. Upon graduation, Davies will be attending graduate school.
Hall has played in 105 games in her career, making 79 starts. She is a .263 career hitter with 11 doubles, one triple and five home runs. She has also recorded 36 RBI and 30 runs. She owns a career slugging percentage of .371, an OBP of .314 and a fielding percentage of .980 at second base. The Cooperstown, N.Y. native is the daughter of Bob Hall and Anne Smullens, and is a criminal justice major. Upon graduation, Hall will work as a seasonal police officer in Ocean City, Maryland while being in the hiring process for the New York State Police.
Mayhew has played in 158 games in her Bloomsburg career, starting in 157 of them. She is a .333 career hitter with 37 doubles, 19 doubles and 96 RBI. She has also scored 107 runs in her career. She owns a career slugging percentage of .503 and an OBP of .360. She was a three-time PSAC East Athlete of the Week, the PSAC Freshman of the Year (2015) and a two-time all-conference selection. She was also named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Atlantic Region second team in 2016. The Perkasie, Pa. native is the daughter of Scott and Jill Mayhew, and is a communication studies major. Upon graduation, Mayhew will be completing an internship at Schoolhouse Learning Center.
Nemeth has played in 48 games making 18 starts for the Maroon and Gold in her career. She owns a .197 career batting average, a .200 career slugging percentage and a .288 OBP. She has two doubles and three RBI in her career, as well as a .935 fielding percentage. In the classroom, she was a three-time PSAC Scholar Athlete selection (2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17) as well as a 2016-17 ADA Scholar Athlete. The Drums, Pa. native is the daughter of Joe and Jackie Nemeth, and is a double-major in marketing and supply chain management. Upon graduation, Nemeth will be working for TE Connectivity based in Harrisburg as a marketing analyst.
Remley has played in 86 games in her career, starting in 36 of them. She is a .246 career hitter with a .226 career slugging percentage and a .278 OBP. She has totaled three career doubles, six RBI and 25 runs scored. She also owns a career .894 fielding percentage. The Berwick, Pa. native is the daughter of Timothy and Shelly Remley, and is a mathematics major. Upon graduation, Remley will attend graduate school at Lock Haven University for actuarial sciences.
Smith has played in 49 games in her career, making 26 starts. She is a career .321 hitter with a .326 career slugging percentage and a .348 OBP. She has hit one career double, one career triple and three career RBI. Smith also has pitched over the last two seasons for the Huskies, owning a 9.89 ERA through 11.1 innings and totaling six career strikeouts. In the classroom, she was a three-time PSAC Scholar Athlete (2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17) as well as a 2016-17 D2 ADA Scholar Athlete. The Tunkhannock, Pa. native is the daughter of Greg and Barb Smith, and is a pre-medical sciences major. Upon graduation, she plans on working as a research assistant for Geisinger at an autism development clinic. She also plans on attending medical school.
Wheeland has played in 73 games in her BU career, making 61 starts. She is a career .333 hitter and also owns a .459 career slugging percentage and a .338 OBP. She has knocked 14 career doubles, eight career home runs and has driven in 39 career runs. The South Williamsport, Pa. native is the daughter of Todd and Linda Snyder, and is an exercise science major. Upon graduation, she plans to attend graduate school for clinical athletic training.

LAST MEETING
The Huskies split their last doubleheader with Lock Haven back on Apr. 8, 2017 dropping game one 4-3 and rebounding for a 4-3 win in game two.
The Huskies swept Clarion in their last meeting on Apr. 2, 2017 winning game one 10-1 in five innings and winning 3-0 in game two.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies split their last doubleheader against PSAC Central rival Pitt-Johnstown back on Mar. 31, taking game one 4-3 and falling in game two 5-4.
In game one, Bloomsburg scored four runs on nine hits while committing two errors in the win.
Marissa Shelhamer (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) led the offense going 3-3 while driving in one run and scoring twice. Mayhew chipped in a 2-4 day with a RBI and a run scored, while four other Huskies tallied hits in the win.
Ashli Venokur (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) drove in the other two runs for BU.
Tara Baney (Howard, Pa./Bellefonte) (3-3) got the win in the circle, twirling a complete game allowing three runs on five hits along with two walks and one strikeout.
In game two, Bloomsburg scored four runs on seven hits with one error. Wheeland was the lone Husky with two hits, while another five players each recorded one hit.
Alexa Erney (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) collected a game-high three RBI, with Mayhew driving in the other run for BU. Baney (3-4) was hung with the loss in relief, allowing one unearned run in two innings without allowing a hit. Wild tossed 4.0+ innings in the start, giving up four runs, three earned on seven hits. The freshman walked one and fired three strikeouts in the effort.
Lock Haven swept their last doubleheader over Millersville back on Mar. 31, winning game one 4-2 and shutting out the Marauders 8-0 in five innings in game two.
In game one, Lock Haven scored four runs on six hits while not committing an error. Bryann Hilty was the lone Bald Eagle with two hits, while also driving in a run and scoring a run. Four other Bald Eagles collected hits in the win, with Amanda Loar driving in two runs and Madison Mathes knocking in one. Bekah Slattery got the win in the circle, allowing two runs on five hits while issuing three walks and firing 12 strikeouts.
In game two, The Bald Eagles scored eight runs on 11 hits while committing three errors. Becaa Caputo led the offense with a 3-3 game that included one RBI and two runs scored, while Mathes and Loar each had two hits in the win. Four others each recorded one hit in the win. Loar also recorded a game-high five RBI in the game two shutout. Kayla Gee got the win in the circle, allowing four hits in five innings with one walk and seven strikeouts.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
BU is eighth in the conference with a .293 team batting average, fourth in the conference with a .460 slugging percentage and the team also owns a .328 OBP. Wheeland leads the team and is ninth in the conference with a .451 batting average, while Venokur is tied for 10
thin the PSAC with a .441 batting average. Wheeland is also the team's leader in slugging percentage and is also sixth in the conference with a mark of .745. Among everyday players, Wheeland's .492 OBP also leads the team. The Huskies are tied for third in the conference in doubles (33), have hit two triples and are second in the league in home runs (16).
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield)'s team-high six doubles are tied for seventh in the conference, while Hall and Smith have hit Bloomsburg's two triples. Mayhew and Wheeland are tied for third in the conference and the team lead in home runs with four. The Huskies own a 4.38 team ERA and a .295 team batting average against. Baney's 1.67 ERA is eighth in the conference and the lowest on the team through 50.1 innings.
Abby Wild (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley), Davies, Smith and
Balee Leeser (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) have combined for 70.0 innings on the season. As a team, Bloomsburg is fielding .940.
SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
Lock Haven is hitting .256 as a team, slugging .253 and owns and OBP of .322. Mathes is the team's leading hitter with a .349 batting average, while being second on the team with a .460 slugging percentage and leading the team in OBP at .408. Mathes is one of four Bald Eagles hitting at least .300 on the season. The Bald Eagles are eighth in the league in doubles (21), tied for seventh in the league in triples (three) and tied for fifth in home runs with eight. Caputo leads the team and is tied for second in the PSAC in doubles with seven, while Moriah Lindsey leads the team in triples with two. Caputo is also tied for second in the league in dingers with four. The Bald Eagles own the sixth-best ERA in the conference at 3.00, led by Slattery whose 1.42 ERA is fifth individually in the conference through 54.1 innings. Gee, Caputo and Taryn Williams have combined for another 73.2 innings in the circle. As a team, the Bald Eagles lead the PSAC in fielding with a mark of .974.
SCOUTING CLARION
Clarion hits .257 as a team, slugs .375 and gets on base at a clip of .338. Taylor Nonnenberg leads the team with a .340 average, while being one of three Golden Eagles to hit at least .300 on the season. Cassidy Runyan leads the team in slugging percentage with a mark of .581, while Nonnenberg's .411 OBP is the highest on the team among everyday players. Clarion has hit 19 doubles, two triples and they are tied for fifth in the league in home runs with eight. Moriah Lynn leads the Golden Eagles with five doubles, while she and Alexis Boie have each hit one triple on the season. Runyan's four long balls are tied for third in the conference. Clarion owns a 7.30 ERA as a team, with Lynn, Macy Rubin, Sarah Gossard, Laura Sadowski and Rebecca Kelly all throwing innings on the season. As a team, Clarion owns a .943 fielding percentage.
