STORYLINE
The Huskies are in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament yet again in 2018, and have made the conference tournament every year under head coach
Susan Kocher. Just one win in the PSAC tournament will mark 250 for Kocher's career. The Huskies are the second seed out of the Central division, while Gannon is the top seed out of the West division.
LAST YEAR AT THE PSAC TOURNAMENT
The Huskies opened last year's PSAC tournament with a 16-0 win over Kutztown in five innings, before defeating Gannon 7-3 in nine innings in their second game. BU's third game was a 9-1 loss in six innings to West Chester, before the Huskies downed Lock Haven 7-5 to advance to the championship game and earn a rematch with West Chester. The Golden Rams captured the conference title with a 6-0 victory over Bloomsburg.
ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the 12th all-time meeting between Bloomsburg and Gannon. Bloomsburg holds a 9-2 lead in the all-time series.

Bloomsburg and Gannon last met in last year's PSAC tournament, with Bloomsburg getting the 7-3 win in nine innings.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies swept Clarion in their final regular season action back on Sunday (Apr. 29), winning game one 7-0 and game two 5-3. The game was scoreless until the fifth inning when the Huskies erupted for four runs. Eventual winning pitcher
Alyssa Davies (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) led off the inning with a single before advancing to second, before she would score on a double by
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield). A second straight double off the bat of
Maggie Hall (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) would score Winkelman, before Hall would advance to third on a single from
Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge).
Kalynn Wheeland (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) would launch her 10
th homer of the season to make it 4-0. The Huskies would tack on their final three runs in the top of the seventh to get to the final score, beginning with a leadoff single from Hall. She would advance to second on a single by Mayhew, before Wheeland loaded the bases with a single. Hall would score on a wild pitch that advanced the other two runners up 60 feet.
Marissa Shelhamer (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) brought home Mayhew with a sacrifice fly, before
Bridget Casey (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) singled to bring home Wheeland. Clarion would get runners on base in the seventh, but Davies would slam the door to earn the shutout.
Bloomsburg scored seven runs on 13 hits while not committing an error. Mayhew led the offense with four hits in the game, with her fourth hit of the afternoon also being the 200th of her career. Winkelman and Hall each had three hits in the win, while Wheeland and Casey each tallied two hits in the game.
Alexa Erney (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and Davies also each contributed one hit in the contest. Wheeland drove in two runs in the game, while four other Huskies each brought home one. Wheeland and Hall each crossed the plate twice, while Winkelman, Mayhew and Davies each scored once. Davies (7-7) earned the win in the circle with a shutout effort, allowing just seven hits while walking three and punching out six in the win.
The Huskies would begin the scoring in game two with a RBI groundout by Mayhew that scored Winkelman, before padding their lead in the top of the third. Wheeland would bring home Winkelman with a single, before Clarion would get on the board in the bottom of the third. The Huskies would score their third run in the top of the fourth, which began with a leadoff single from eventual winning pitcher
Tara Baney (Howard, Pa./Bellefonte). Baney would steal second and third before scoring on a wild pitch to make it 3-1. Neither team plated a run from there until the seventh, when both teams would score two runs. Hall began the seventh with a single and a swipe of second, before stealing third on ball four to Mayhew. After Mayhew stole second, Hall would score on a wild pitch that would move Mayhew to third. Wheeland brought Mayhew home with a RBI groundout to put the Huskies 5-1 heading to the final three outs. Clarion got their two runs on one swing from Jessica Cartia whose one-out long ball scored Cassie Daniels. Davies would record the final two outs for BU to complete the sweep.
BU scored five runs on seven hits while committing two errors in the game. Seven different Huskies each tallied one hit in the win, while Wheeland drove in two runs and Mayhew brought home one. Winkelman was the lone Husky to cross the plate twice, while Mayhew, Hall and Baney each scored once. Baney (7-6) got the win in the circle, allowing one run on six hits along with one walk and five strikeouts through five innings. Davies came on for the final two innings, allowing two runs on two hits while recording four strikeouts.
California (Pa.) swept Edinboro on Monday (Apr. 30) to clinch the final spot in the tournament, winning game one 3-2 in eight innings and winning game two by an identical score.
Gannon split their last regular season doubleheader with Slippery Rock on Saturday (Apr. 28), losing game one 14-13 in eight innings and winning game two 10-2 in six innings.
Indiana (Pa.) (IUP) was swept in their last regular season doubleheader by Pitt-Johnstown back on Saturday (Apr. 28), dropping game one 2-1 and falling in game two 8-7 in eight innings.
Lock Haven swept their final regular season doubleheader against Mansfield on Saturday (Apr. 28), winning game one 4-0 and game two 2-1.
Millersville dropped their last two regular season games against West Chester on Saturday (Apr. 28), losing 4-0 in game one and 5-0 in game two.
Seton Hill defeated California (Pa.) swept California (Pa.) in their last regular season doubleheader on Saturday (Apr. 28), winning game one 5-4 in 10 innings and 9-2 in game two.
Shippensburg dropped their final regular season doubleheader to East Stroudsburg on Saturday (Apr. 28), falling in game one 4-3 and 10-5 in game two.
West Chester shut out Millersville on Saturday (Apr. 28) in the concluding doubleheader of the regular season, winning game one 4-0 and game two 5-0.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are the fifth-best hitting team in the conference with a team average of .311, and are one of seven teams hitting at least .300 on the season. BU is also fourth in the league in slugging percentage with a mark of .464 and 10
th in the league in on-base percentage (OBP) with a mark of .356. Wheeland leads the Huskies and is second in the conference with a .441 batting average, while Mayhew is second on the team and 14
thindividually with a .378 average. Seven other Huskies are hitting at least .300 on the season. Wheeland's .771 slugging percentage also leads the team and is second in the conference, while eight others are slugging at least .400 on the season. Wheeland also leads the team in OBP with a mark of .478, while being seventh in the league individually. Bloomsburg is second in the conference in doubles with 80, has hit two triples and is third in the league in home runs with 31. Hall's 13 doubles lead the team and are tied for fifth individually in the conference, while Winkelman is second on the team and tied for ninth in the league with 12 doubles. 14 other Huskies have knocked doubles on the season. Hall and Smith have each hit one triple on the year for BU. Wheeland's 10 dingers also lead the team and are third in the PSAC. The Huskies have pitched to a 4.27 earned run average (ERA) on the season as well as the ninth-lowest batting average against in the conference at .299. Bloomsburg is one of nine teams to hold opposing teams hitting under .300 against them. Baney holds a team-low 2.71 ERA through 90.1 innings, while Davies has pitched to a 3.62 ERA through 96.2 innings.

Balee Leeser (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) and
Erin Smith (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) have also combined for 67.2 innings in the circle for BU. As a team, the Huskies are fielding .947 on the season.
SCOUTING CALIFORNIA (Pa.)
The Vulcans are hitting .272 on the season while slugging .387 and getting on base at a clip of .362, the sixth-highest OBP in the conference. Among everyday players, Brooke Wilson and Paige Wilson share the team lead in batting average at .348. Carlee Wickstrom (.321) is the only other Vulcan to hit above .300 on the season. Wickstrom leads the team in slugging at .541, while three other Vulcans are slugging at least .400 on the season. Paige Wilson's .483 OBP leads the team and is seventh individually in the league, while Brooke Wilson is second on the team in OBP with a mark of .443. The Vulcans have hit 32 doubles this season, are tied for fifth in the PSAC in triples with seven and are also tied for seventh in the conference in home runs with 19. Emily Price leads the team in doubles with six, while three other Vulcans have hit five doubles each on the season. Wickstrom leads the team in triples with two, while five others have hit one triple each on the year. Wickstrom's five home runs also lead the team, while seven others have knocked at least one long ball on the season. California (Pa.) owns the fifth-lowest ERA in the PSAC at 3.20, and the eighth-lowest batting average against at .292. Emilee Downing owns a team-low 2.46 ERA which is 12
th individually in the conference, while Taylor Robblee's 2.75 ERA is second on the team and tied for 18
th individually in the league. Carly Konopka and Cierra Funke have also combined to throw 78.0 innings for the Vulcans this season. The Vulcans are the sixth-best fielding team in the PSAC with a team fielding percentage of .963.
SCOUTING GANNON
Gannon is tied for sixth in the PSAC with a .301 team batting average, and just one of seven teams to boast a team average of at least .300 on the season. The Lady Knights are the third-best slugging team in the conference with a mark of .472, and they also hold the second-highest OBP in the league at .384. Kaity Stocker leads Gannon among everyday players with a .369 batting average, while Jackie Martinez is right on her heels hitting .368. Seven other Lady Knights are hitting at least .300 on the season. Stocker's .750 slugging percentage also leads the team and is third in the conference, while 11 others are slugging at least .400 on the season. Stocker's .509 OBP is also tops on the team and second in the conference, along with five others who have marks of at least .400 in the category. Gannon is third in the league in doubles with 73, tied for 10
th in the league in triples with four and second in the league in jacks with 33. Martinez's 12 doubles lead the squad and are tied for ninth individually in the conference, while 12 others have knocked at least one double on the season. Martinez also leads the team in triples with two, while Kellyn Perich and Lyndsey Lakatos each have hit one triple on the season. Stocker leads the team and is fourth in the conference in bombs with nine, while seven others have hit home runs on the year for Gannon. Gannon's 2.17 team ERA is the second-lowest in the PSAC, while their .260 batting average against is the fourth-lowest in the league. Perich leads the team and is fourth in the league with a 1.70 ERA through 45.1 innings, while Kennedy DeMatteis is ninth in the conference with a 2.24 ERA through 103.0 innings. Madi Beining is also 10
th in the league with a 2.31 ERA through 103.0 innings. Gannon is also the third-best fielding team in the conference with a .967. fielding percentage.
SCOUTING IUP
IUP is hitting .290 on the season as a team, slugging the ninth-best mark in the PSAC at .405 and they are also the fifth-best team in the conference at getting on base with a .372 OBP. Kaitlyn Beers's .385 batting average leads the team and is tied for ninth in the conference, while Renee Wall is second on the team and 16
th in the conference with a .370 batting average. Three other Crimson Hawks are hitting at least .300 on the season. Beers's .607 slugging percentage also leads the team and is ninth in the conference, while Wall's .565 slugging percentage is second on the team and tied for 13
th in the conference. Kassie Kesneck (.491) is the only other Crimson Hawk to be slugging at least .400 on the season. Wall's .487 OBP leads the team and is sixth in the conference, while three others have posted an OBP of at least .400 on the season. IUP is tied for seventh in the conference in doubles, has hit two triples on the season and has also hit 14 homers on the season. Wall and Beers have each hit a team-leading 12 doubles on the year which is tied for ninth in the conference, while eight others have hit doubles on the season. Beers and Kesneck have each hit one triple on the season. Beers has hit a team-high four home runs on the season, with eight others hitting at least one long ball on the season. IUP boasts the sixth-lowest ERA in the conference at 3.29, along with the seventh-lowest batting average against at .283. Lauren Zola leads the team with a 3.10 ERA through 117.1 innings, while Megan Risinger sits at 3.48 through 96.2 innings pitched. Brooklyn Kotula also owns a 3.50 mark through 16.0 innings on the season. IUP is tied with Lock Haven for being the best fielding team in the conference with a fielding percentage of .969.
SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
Lock Haven is eighth in the conference with a .298 team batting average, eighth in slugging percentage at .415 and they also own a .353 OBP on the season. Becca Caputo leads the team with a .333 batting average, while five other Bald Eagles are hitting at least .300 on the season. Caputo's .549 slugging percentage also leads the team, while seven others are slugging at least .400 on the season. Moriah Lindsey's .388 OBP leads the team among everyday players, while nine other Bald Eagles own an OBP of at least .300 on the season. LHU is fourth in the conference in doubles with 66, has hit five triples and is also sixth in the league in round-trippers with 22. Caputo's 15 doubles are tied for both the team and league lead, while 11 other Bald Eagles have hit doubles on the season. Lindsey's three triples lead the team and are tied for fifth in the league, while Bree Hilty and Madison Mathes have each hit one triple on the season. Casey Carpenter's eight home runs lead the team and are tied for fifth in the conference, while Caputo's six are second on the team and eighth in the conference. Five other Bald Eagles have hit at least one homer on the season. Lock Haven owns the lowest ERA in the league at 1.99 along with the lowest batting average against at .208. Bekah Slattery owns the team's best and the third-lowest ERA in the PSAC at 1.24 through 155.2 innings, while Kayla Gee is fifth in the conference in ERA at 1.96 through 132.1 innings. Caputo and Taryn Williams have also combined for 29.0 innings in the circle for Lock Haven. Lock Haven is tied with IUP as the top fielding team in the league with a .969 fielding percentage.
SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
Millersville is the second-best hitting team in the PSAC with a .331 team batting average, the conference leader in slugging percentage at .523 and they are also third in the league in OBP with a mark of .377. Faith Willenbrock's .406 batting average leads the team and is sixth in the PSAC, while Allie Janowiak is second on the team and seventh in the conference hitting .397. Four other Marauders are hitting at least .300 on the season. Willenbrock's .827 slugging percentage also leads the team as well as the conference, while Rebecca Blatt's .746 slugging percentage is the fourth-highest mark in the conference. Nine others are slugging at least .400 on the season. Janowiak's .428 OBP leads the team among everyday players, while Willenbrock (.409) is the only other player with an OBP of at least .400 on the season. Millersville is fifth in the conference in doubles with 64, second in the conference in triples with nine and they also lead the conference in bleacher creatures with 45. Blatt's 13 doubles lead the team and are tied for fifth in the PSAC while 11 others have hit at least one double on the season for Millersville. Willenbrock's three triples are the most on the team and are tied for fifth in the conference, while four others have hit triples on the season for the Marauders. Willenbrock leads both the team and the conference with 14 bombs on the season, while Blatt is second with 11. Nine other Marauders have gone yard at least once on the season. Millersville owns a 3.57 team ERA on the year along with a .304 batting average against. Brianna White leads the team with a 1.99 ERA through 24.2 innings on the season, while Cassidy Pinchorski owns a 3.08 mark through 86.1 innings. Emma Bevard also sits at 3.13 through 38.0 innings. Catherine Johnson and Paige Harris have combined for 108.0 innings on the season for Millersville as well. Millersville is tied with Kutztown as the 10
th-best fielding team in the league with a .957 team fielding percentage.
SCOUTING SETON HILL
Seton Hill is the fourth-best hitting team in the conference with a .312 team batting average, the sixth-best slugging team with a mark of .422 and the seventh-best team in the league at getting on base with an OBP of .361. Brooke Bower and Christiana Skrabak share the team lead and are tied for ninth in the league in batting average at .37, while five other Griffins are hitting at least .300 on the season. Devyn Terry leads the team in slugging with a mark of .623 that is seventh in the conference, while six others are slugging at least .300 on the season. Terry's .500 OBP also leads the team and is fourth individually in the PSAC, while three others own an OBP of at least .400 on the season. Seton Hill has hit 30 doubles on the season, they are tied for fifth in triples with five and they are also tied for seventh in the league in home runs with 19. Paige Hertzog's 10 doubles lead the team, while seven other Griffins have hit at least one double on the season. Skrabak leads the team and is tied for third in the conference with four triples, while three others have hit one triple each on the season. Terry leads the team in jacks with four, while seven other Griffins have hit at least one nuke on the season. Seton Hill has the third-lowest team ERA in the conference at 2.69, led by a mark of 2.14 from Terry through 111.0 innings which is tied for seventh in the conference. Alyssa Blake has pitched to a 3.23 mark in 17.1 innings, while Nichole McClendon has also worked to a 3.27 ERA through 15.0 innings. Skyla Greco and Leighann Pettis have contributed a combined 90.2 innings in the circle this season for Seton Hill. SHU is the seventh-best fielding team in the PSAC, fielding to a mark of .961.
SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
Shippensburg is hitting .293 as a team, slugging .379 and also owns a .337 OBP. Kayla Bonawitz leads the team and is third in the conference in batting average at .435, while Tara Bicko (.382) and Katie Wise (.320) are the only other players to hit at least .300 on the season. Bicko leads the team in slugging percentage at .553, while Bonawitz is slugging .532 on the season. Macy Luck (.419) is the only Raider to be slugging at least .400 on the season. Maddie Mulhall leads the team in OBP at .471, while Bicko (.461) and Bonawitz (.445) are the only other players to own an OBP over .400 on the season. Shippensburg is tied for seventh in the league in doubles with 57, while they have also hit three triples and nine home runs on the season. Bonawitz and Bicko have each hit 10 doubles on the season, while another eight Raiders have hit at least one two-bagger on the year. Bonawitz, Bicko and Anna Warfield have hit triples for Shippensburg on the year, while Bicko, Chloe Collins and Luck have each hit three home runs on the year. The Raiders own the seventh-best ERA in the conference at 3.54, along with the fifth-lowest batting average against in the conference at .261. Bri Garber's .460 batting average leads both the team and the conference, while Alyssa Herion is second on the team and tied for ninth in the PSAC with a .385 batting average. Five other Golden Rams are hitting at least .300 on the season. Herion's .573 slugging percentage leads the team among everyday players and is also 10
th in the conference, while six others are slugging at least .500 on the season. Garber's .541 OBP leads both the team and the conference, while four others own an OBP of at least .400 on the season. The Golden Rams lead the conference in doubles with 94, are tied for third in the conference in triples with eight and are also fourth in the league in dingers with 27. Herion leads the team and shares the conference lead in doubles with 15, while Emily Maseth is tied for third with 14 and Cat Hammer and Madison Kelly are each tied for fifth with 13. Sara Ercolani is also tied for ninth in the conference with 12 doubles on the season, while six other Golden Rams have hit doubles on the year. Ercolani and Garber share the team lead and are tied for fifth in the league in triples with three, while Maseth and Annamarie Hartman have each hit one triple on the season. Jaime Klemas leads the team in long balls with five, while Herion and Heidi McCollister each have four homers on the season. Six other Golden Rams have gone yard this season. West Chester is second in the league in ERA at 2.28 and also second in batting average against at .238. They are led by Amanda Houck's 1.21 mark through 155.2 innings which is second in the conference.
