STORYLINE
Bloomsburg enters Saturday's matchup in sole possession of first place in the PSAC standings thanks to four victories in their first five matches of the season. The Golden Knights, meanwhile, come in with a 3-2 overall record and a 2-2 mark in the conference - good for a tie for tenth in the bunched up early PSAC standings.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Huskies hold a 9-6-2 advantage in the all-time series against the Golden Knights. Last season, the teams played to a scoreless double-overtime tie in Erie. Bloomsburg goalkeeper
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) posted a career-high 11 saves in the victory as Gannon outshot Bloomsburg, 22-8, in the contest.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies, ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll, are off to a 4-1 start overall with an identical 4-1 mark in the PSAC standings which has them in sole possession of first place. Bloomsburg is coming off of a 2-0 victory over Lock Haven on Wednesday night at Steph Pettit Stadium - the Huskies fourth 2-0 shutout victory of the season. Freshman
Kate Schlotter (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) scored her first collegiate goal less than three minutes into the match and then sophomore Kate Burrows added an insurance goal in the 65th minute to pace the Huskies' offense. Redshirt sophomore
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) earned her fourth shutout victory of the season with a four-save performance. Bloomsburg has allowed only two goals through the first five matches with both of those coming in the Huskies' only loss - a 2-1 setback at Millersville on September 5. Senior
Taylor Sneidman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) leads the Huskies in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points. Both of her goals have been game-winners which has her tied for third in the PSAC in that category. Burrows is second with two goals for four points while sophomore
Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) is third with a goal and an assist for three points. Senior
Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area), sophomore
Maggie McDonald (Burke, Va./West Potomac), and freshmen Schlotter and
Rachel Clouser (Grantville, Pa./Lower Dauphin) have each scored goals this season. Sophomore
Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) leads with two assists. Hawkins has played every minute in goal and is 4-1 with a 0.40 goals against average and an .818 save percentage. She is first in the league in shutouts, third in goals against average, and eighth in save percentage.

SCOUTING GANNON
The Golden Knights started the season with wins over Clarion, Notre Dame College, and Edinboro, but have dropped the last two contests by identical 1-0 finals against Kutztown and Pitt-Johnstown to fall to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in league play. Gannon has allowed only three goals in five matches this season and have outscored its opponents, 8-3. Meanwhile, Gannon has attempted 84 shots through five games while allowing only 37. Taylor Lewis leads the Golden Knights with four goals and one assist for nine points. She is tied for third in the league in goals and ranks fourth in the league in scoring. Kayla Bevacqua is second on the team with one goal and two assists for four points. Hannah Pufpaff has stared all five matches and is 3-2 with a 0.61 goals against average and an .824 save percentage. She has posted one shutout on the season.

The Huskies will travel to Erie to square off against the Lakers of Mercyhurst University on Friday, September 21, before returning home to host West Chester University on Sunday, September 23. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m.
