STORYLINE
• The PSAC East-leading Huskies hope to make it three straight victories when they travel to play division foe West Chester Saturday afternoon. Bloomsburg enters the contest in sole possession of first place in the PSAC East at 5-2, while the Golden Rams are just 2-6 in the conference and 6-10 overall on the season.

ALL-TIME SERIES
• Bloomsburg leads the all-time series with West Chester, 40-38, but dropped a pair of meetings with the Golden Rams in 2017-18. The Huskies defeated West Chester 79-71 in the first round of the PSAC Tournament in 2016-17, with the Rams holding a 6-5 advantage over the last five seasons.
LAST TIME OUT
• Junior Bella Ricci (Etters, Pa./Red Land) poured in a career-high 24 points to lead Bloomsburg to an 81-74 win over Kutztown last Saturday, January 5. Ricci was 6-of-13 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from three-point territory. Emma Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) added in 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) notched 13 points. Marissa Molnar (Erie, Pa./McDowell) was the fourth Husky to post double figures, finishing with 11 points. As a team, Bloomsburg drained 8-of-14 (57.1%) from behind the arc.
PSAC EAST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
• Junior Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) was named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week for the third time this season Monday, after leading the Huskies to a 2-0 week and sole possession of first place in the PSAC East. Montana averaged 18.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks in the two victories, and was 11-of-20 (55.0%) from the field. She scored a career-high 28 points and hauled in 11 rebounds in Bloomsburg's victory over Lock Haven on January 2, and tallied a career-high six blocks in Saturday's win over Kutztown. Montana is averaging 12.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game on the season.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
• The Huskies are one of the most efficient three-point shooting teams in Division II this season, ranking 3rd in the PSAC (38th in NCAA) at 35.6% shooting from behind the arc. Mack leads the conference in three-point percentage (45.5%), and is ninth in the conference in made triples per game. Mack leads the team in scoring at 14.4 points per contest, and has reached double figures in seven of the Huskies' last eight games. In addition, Mack ranks 7th in the PSAC in free throw percentage (83.3%). Following a 13-point output against Kutztown, Mack is just 26 points away from reaching the 1,000-point milestone for her career.Â
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
• Destiny Jefferson is the Golden Rams leading scorer this season at 15.9 points per contest, while Gabrielle Troisi is 2nd on the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game. Troisi leads West Chester in rebounds (8.3), assists (4.3), and steals (1.6) per game. Freshman Zhane Snow chips in 10.3 points per game, and has reached double figures in each of her last three games. Redshirt senior Madison Torresin scored a game-high 18 points to lead West Chester to a 62-43 victory at Mansfield Wednesday. Snow chipped in 16 points for the Golden Rams, while Katherine Fisher tallied 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists. West Chester was 27-of-52 (51.9 %) from the field as a team in the win. The Rams rank 10th in the PSAC in scoring offense (67.1) and 15th in scoring defense, allowing 72.1 points per game. The Golden Rams have had their shooting struggles in the first half of the season, ranking 11th in the conference in field goal percentage (40.5%), and 15th in three-point percentage (28.8%).
