STORYLINEÂ
The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team returns home Wednesday afternoon as the Huskies host Shippensburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East match up at Steph Pettit Stadium. Bloomsburg enters the contest 4-7 on the year and 3-3 in divisional play while the Raiders are 1-5-3 for the season and 1-3-1 in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg is coming off a tough 3-1 loss to Millersville on Saturday while Shippensburg drew with Slippery Rock, 2-2. Â

ALL-TIME SERIESÂ
The Raiders lead the all-time series 28-21-3 as they have won the last four meetings between the two teams. Prior to the 2017 season, the Huskies posted a three-win run of their own from 2014-16. The previous seven matches have all been decided by one goal. Shippensburg owns the only shut out in that stretch, a 1-0 win on October 4, 2017.Â

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGÂ
Bloomsburg comes into the contest 4-7 on the year and even in the conference, 3-3. Junior Carter Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Central York) and senior Tyler Madeira (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) pace the offence with five goals each while Luckenbaugh has a pair of assists. Freshman Stephen Hollis (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) leads the team with three assists on the season. As a team, the Huskies are averaging 1.73 goals per game and rank seventh in the PSAC. 12 different players have registered at least one point for Bloomsburg while nine players have found the back of the net at least once. Defensively, freshman Nathan Slotnick (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) has started the last three games in net and has played in four matches for the Huskies. Slotnick has a 2.32 goals against average for the season and a .692 save percentage. As a team, the Huskies have a 2.00 GAA.Â

SCOUTINGÂ SHIPPENSBURG Â
The Raiders enter the contest 1-4-3 on the year with a 1-3-1 PSAC East slate. The Raiders lone win of the season came against Bloomsburg, 2-1, on September 18 when both teams kicked off the conference schedule. On the year, Shippensburg has been outscored 16-8 in eight contests and outshot 138-110. Seth Crabbe leads the team with three goals on the year, while Corbin Martin paces the team with a pair of assists. Shippensburg is tied with Bloomsburg for ninth in the PSAC allowing 2.00 goals a game while the Raiders are ninth in the league in scoring, averaging 1.00 goals a game. Bradley Brickman has played a majority of time in net for the Raiders this season and sports a 2.03 GAA and a .675 save percentage.Â

Bloomsburg plays its final home game in October on Saturday, October 19 when the Huskies host East Stroudsburg University at 2:00 p.m. at Steph Pettit Stadium.
