BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Junior
Hunter Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) earned All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Second Team accolades on Friday morning as the Bloomsburg University men's cross country team finished 12th overall at the 2019 PSAC Cross Country Championships at Bloomsburg's Upper Campus Course.
Edinboro won the team title with a total of 63 points while Lock Haven was 46 points behind in second place. Shippensburg, East Stroudsburg, and Kutztown rounded out the top five. Gannon's Joseph Westrick won the individual title as he completed the 8K event in 25:20.3.
Jarratt earned his first career All-Conference honor as he led the Huskies with a 26th-place finish after crossing the finish line in 26:30.8. Sophomore
Kevin Konyar (Winchester, Va./James Wood) was next as he took 61st overall with a time of 27:28.7 while redshirt junior
Zach Bitner (Mount Holly Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) completed the event in 27:47.7 to earn a 72nd-place result.

Declan McDonald (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West) crossed the finish line in 83rd place after posting a time of 28:08.1 while junior
Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) also finished in the top 100 as he placed 97th with a time of 28:33.2.
Also participating for the Huskies on Friday morning were freshman
Wayne Reilly (Valley View, Pa./Tri-Valley), who finished 104th with a time of 28:59.3, and junior
Justin Ziegler (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) was was 130th overall in a time of 30:48.1.
The Huskies will take next weekend off before heading to Lock Haven University to compete in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships on Saturday, November 9. The men's race will get underway at 11:00 a.m. from the West Branch Cross Country Course.
