STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University women's volleyball team wraps up its four-game road trip as the Huskies travel to a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponents this weekend. The Huskies will visit Millersville on Friday night before traveling to West Chester on Saturday. Bloomsburg enters the weekend with an overall record of 8-17 with a 3-9 conference mark. Millersville enters Friday's contest with an 18-7 overall record and an 8-4 in conference slate while West Chester is currently 14-11 and 2-10 in PSAC action.
NEW LOOK
With the addition of Shepherd to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), the sport of volleyball restructured its divisions. The Central Division will consist of East Stroudsburg, Kutztown, Bloomsburg, and Lock Haven while the Northwest Division features five teams - Gannon, Clarion, Edinboro, Mercyhurst, and Slippery Rock. The Southwest Division boasts Seton Hill, Pitt-Johnstown, Cal U, and IUP, and the Southeast Division will consist of Shippensburg, Shepherd, Millersville, and West Chester. The four division winners will earn an automatic bid to the PSAC Volleyball Championship while the next four best records will earn at-large spots.

The Huskies lost to Millersville 3-1 last year in the two team's first all-time meeting and West Chester also defeated Bloomsburg 3-0 in the first match between the two teams in 2018.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg improved to an 8-17 overall after clinching a 3-0 match against Kutztown on Saturday. Junior
Alyssa Cianciulli leads the conference with 6.54 digs per set this season for a total of 608. As a team, the Huskies are 10
th in the conference, averaging 16.32 digs per set. Bloomsburg remains second-to-last in the conference with a team hitting percentage of .094. Sophomore
Mary Kate Mooney leads the team with 222 kills this year and is averaging 2.41 kills per set. Sophomore
Grace Giza is right on her heels with 215 kills this year and averages 2.34 kills per set. Sophomore
Bryn Stek and
Brooke Kratzer continue to split the setting duties for Bloomsburg as Stek has handed out 330 assists and Kratzer 242. Cianciulli and Stek also lead the team in service aces this year with 30 and 29, respectively.
SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
Millersville is currently 18-7 overall and 8-4 in the PSAC Southeast. The Marauders lead the PSAC with a .234 hitting percentage and rank sixth in kills (12.43 per set). They rank sixth in assists per set (11.62). Leading Millersville's attack is senior Jayci Suseland with 326 kills and a .327 hitting percentage. Right behind her is junior Lindsey Blevins with 272 kills and a .194 hitting percentage. Senior Katie Laughman leads Millersville with 902 assists this season while junior Kat Forry leads the team with 388 digs. Freshman Rebecca Dalstad leads the team with 0.37 aces per set this year.
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
The Golden Rams, who play Lock Haven on Friday night, enter the weekend with an 14-11 overall record and a 2-10 mark in the PSAC. West Chester ranks 15th in kills (10.43 k/set) and 15th in assists (9.55 a/set) in the conference. The Golden Rams rank fifth in blocks (1.93 b/set) in the conference. Sophomore Julia Vreeswyk leads the team with 2.63 kills per set and has totaled 245 for the season so far. Grad Student Shaye Whiteman leads West Chester in digs averaging 4.57 per set for an accumulated 430 digs. She also leads the team in aces with 33 (.35/set) Freshman Jillian Borgerding is at the net as setter with 624 assists on the season.
UP NEXT
The Huskies return home next Friday, November 8 to host Shepherd in a PSAC showdown. The Rams are currently 22-2 on the year and 10-2 in the PSAC. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
