The two teams went back and forth until the Griffins took a 24-21 lead with 6:48 to play. SHU maintained its lead for most of the quarter until senior

The Huskies maintained their four-point lead in the third before the Griffins went on a 7-0 run over two minutes of game play to take the lead for good, 42-39. The Huskies cut the deficit back to one, 42-41, thanks to a pair of free throws from Montana, but the Griffins staved off any run attempt by the Huskies and eventually pushed their lead to 12, 61-49, with 1:50 to play in the third. The Huskies used a 6-2 run of their own to cut the lead back down to single digits, 63-55, with a jumper from Brandt but Tiana Stewart hit a three at the buzzer to give SHU a 66-55 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Â
After almost a minute without a basket in the beginning of the fourth, Oeth broke the stalemate and cut the lead down to 66-57 with a jumper at 9:07. Stewart pushed the lead back to 12 for the Griffins at 8:35. SHU eventually took a 15-point lead, 73-58, with 6:34 to play.

With 2:41 to play, Oeth and Saxton hit back-to-back shots to pull within seven, 80-73, with 2:33 to play. Bloomsburg kept the gap in the single digits over the next minute until Seton Hill pushed its lead back to 11, 88-77. Saxton hit another jumper for the Huskies but a pair of free throws from Seton Hill gave the Griffins a 90-79 lead with 22 seconds left. Montana hit the backend of a trip to the free throw line with 10 seconds left, but that would be the final points of the game as Seton Hill won 90-80.
Â
The Huskies have a quick turnaround as they host Holy Family University on Tuesday, November 26 in a non-conference contest. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at Nelson Field House.
