STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team will look to extend its winning streak to 14 as it travels to West Chester Wednesday night for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup. The Huskies, ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, are 15-1 overall and 13-1 in the PSAC. The Golden Rams are 11-3-1 overall and 10-3-1 in divisional play.

ALL-TIME SERIES
West Chester leads the all-time series against Bloomsburg 21-14-4. The Huskies defeated the Golden Rams 2-0 when the teams met earlier this season.


SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies have won a program-record thirteen straight games and enter the contest with an overall record of 15-1. Bloomsburg took care of Kutztown last Wednesday defeating the Golden Bears 1-0 at Steph Pettit Stadium on Senior Night. Nicole Varano (Mt. Carmel, Pa./Mt. Carmel) scored the lone goal of the game early in the second half. Varano is second in scoring with nine goals and an assist good for 19 points. Goalkeeper Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) recorded six saves in the victory, and broke the school record for most career shutouts (28). The record was previously held by Amy Linn from 1992-95 (27). Hawkins leads the PSAC in goals against average (.32), save percentage (.896), and in shutouts (9). Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) leads the team in goals with 10, and in assists with eight for a total of 28 points on the season. Bloomsburg has outscored its opponents by a 44-5 margin on the season thus far. Junior Maggie McDonald (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) comes third with four goals and three assists for 11 points on the season.
 
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
West Chester enters the contest with a 11-3-1 overall mark on the year and a 10-3-1 record in conference play. The Golden Rams' last game came on Saturday where it defeated Shippensburg 7-2. Junior Hannah Zach had two goals in the win, and leads the team with 10 on the season, good for 21 points. Senior Jenny Bail is second on the team in goals with six for a total of 14 points. Senior Brooke Myers has started 13 games in goal and is 9-3-1 with a 1.04 goals against average and a .705 save percentage.

The Huskies return home next Saturday, November 9, to host Millersville in a PSAC East showdown in the final game of the regular season at 1:00 p.m.
