Taylor Skawinski (Ledgewood, N.J./Morris Catholic) each recorded three goals to lift the Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team to a 20-6 victory over Wilmington University (Del.) on Friday evening at Steph Pettit Stadium. With the victory, the Huskies improved to 2-0 on the young season while the Wildcats dropped to 0-3.

Charlotte Williamson (Phoenixville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) to earn her first collegiate victory in her first career start. Williamson turned aside four shots in the win.
Six others scored at least one goal on Friday evening as sophomore
Megan Smith (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Township) and freshman
Kelsey Kilgallon (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) added two each while redshirt sophomore
Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side), junior
Sydney Collins (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill), and sophomores
Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) and
Allison Bardman (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) chipped in a single tally each in the victory.
The Wildcats scored first as Lashay Ross got the visitors on the board just 33 seconds in for a 1-0 advantage. The Huskies answered with two player-down goals by Skawinski and Smith to take their first lead of the contest with 26:54 left in the opening half before Brooke Siebert tied the game at 2-2 on a marker with 24:11 left in the first stanza. Then, the Huskies essentially put the game away with 11 unanswered goals over the next 19 minutes to take a 13-2 lead with 5:34 left in the opening half. Gormley scored all three of her goals during the stretch while Jaskuta added a pair.
Wilmington's Delaney Steele scored the final goal of the half as Bloomsburg took a 13-3 lead into the break.
The Huskies opened the second half with three straight goals by Dempsey, Smith, and Skawinski, to take a 16-3 advantage before Wilmington answered with back-to-back goals by Siebert to trim the Bloomsburg lead to 16-5. Bardman, Dempsey, Kilgallon, and Jaskuta rounded out the scoring for the Huskies while Maddie Day scored for Wilmington with one second remaining for the final margin.
Jaskuta added a pair of assists to give her five points on the evening. The senior, who scored five goals in the season-opening victory over Georgian Court on Tuesday afternoon, has now recorded hat tricks in both games to start the campaign. She now has a team-leading 11 points on eight goals and three assists on the year. Kelleher had a game-high three assists for a four-point game while Smith added a pair of helpers as she joined Kelleher with four points in the win.
Siebert led Wilmington with three goals and one assist. Maddie Hurm suffered the loss in goal for the Wildcats as she allowed 13 goals on 18 shots. Tori Grubowski made one save in just over 17 minutes of action in relief.
Bloomsburg held a 34-10 advantage in shot attempts and collected 33 ground balls to Wilmington's 24. The Huskies also won 15-of-27 draw controls with Bergman corralling a game-high ten in the victory.
The Huskies will take to the road for the first time in the 2019 season when they head to Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, March 5. Start time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
