THE STORY
• The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team welcomes Millersville University to the Burt Reese Tennis Center for the first round of the 2019 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship Tuesday afternoon. The Huskies enter the postseason riding a six-match win streak, and are the #2 seed in the PSAC East with a 4-2 conference record. The Marauders are 3-2 in the PSAC this season and are the #3 seed in the Eastern Division.
BLOOMSBURG VS. MILLERSVILLE HISTORY
• The Huskies hold a 45-8 all-time advantage over Millersville, including a 5-2 victory over the Marauders back on March 30 of this year.
Cassidy Calimer (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Absegami) and
Vitoria Nery (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Educandário Santa Maria Goretti) notched two wins apiece for Bloomsburg, while
Giovanna Bonito (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Reino) and
Cassie Wentz (Windber, Pa./Winber Area) also earned singles victories. Bonito and Capoferri would secure the team doubles point for the Huskies with a victory in the #2 position.
THE HUSKIES AT A GLANCE
• The Bloomsburg win streak was extended to six with a 5-2 triumph over visiting Wilkes University last Thursday. Calimer, Bonito, Wentz, and Sarquis all notched singles wins for the Huskies, while Capoferri and Bonito, and
Isabella Sarquis (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Metodo) and Calimer were victorious in doubles action.
• Capoferri is 12-8 overall from the lead singles position this season, while Calimer is 14-5 overall and 11-3 in the #2 spot. Nery is 11-2 overall and has won seven consecutive singles matches, and Bonito is 11-4 overall in singles action. Wentz is 13-3 overall, primarily in the #5 singles spot, and Sarquis rounds out the singles lineup with a 10-1 overall singles record.
• Calimer and Nery have posted a 12-4 overall mark as a doubles tandem, while Bonito and Capoferri are 12-5 as a duo. Both pairings have won their last four matches entering Tuesday's contest. Sarquis and
Siena Cerra (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) are 7-3 overall, primarily in the #3 doubles slot.

SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
• The Marauders enter the postseason with momentum after an impressive 7-0 victory over Shippensburg to close out the regular season last Wednesday. Kelsey Heckert, Victoria Hanus, and Corinne Grohoski all earned 6-0, 6-0 singles wins for Millersville.
• Katina Jones has a team-high 10 wins on the year and has anchored the Marauders lineup in the lead singles position, while Heckert and Grohoski each have nine wins this season. Jasmine Morris has played primarily from the #2 singles position and is 7-16 overall.Â
• Heckert and Hanus are 11-7 overall in the #3 doubles position, while Jones and Morris have combined to post an 8-11 record in the #1 doubles spot. Grohoski has teamed with Sophie May and Megan Rovenolt to combine for nine doubles victories on the season.
LOOKING AHEAD
• With a win Tuesday, the Huskies will battle Slippery Rock, the top seed in the PSAC West, this Friday at 11:00 a.m. Bloomsburg will host both the men's and women's PSAC Championships this season.Â
