Box Score MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Salem University, Friday evening in a regional top-10 battle. The Huskies fell to 4-2 for the year while the Tigers opened the year 1-0.
 
Coming into the match, the Tigers were ranked No. 3 in the region while the Huskies are ranked No. 10.
 
The Tigers took the doubles point with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles and 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles match. Salem swept the first three singles matches to clinch the team win. The Tigers won the No. 4 singles match for the 5-0 lead but Taylor Capoferri (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) and Sarah Capoferri (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) won pro sets at No. 5 singles and No. 6 singles after the match was decided.

The Huskies are back on the court at 12:00 p.m. Saturday against West Virginia Wesleyan University.
