KUTZTOWN, PA- The Bloomsburg University volleyball went the distance in five sets to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East rival, Kutztown, for the 3-2 win, Saturday night. The Huskies and the Golden Bears went back and forth for the first three sets, taking the first and third set was Kutztown, 25-23 and 25-21. The Huskies took the win in the second fourth and fifth set; 25-17, 25-11 and 25-8 to secure the win.
With the win, the Huskies dropped to 8-9 for the year and 3-2 in the PSAC while the Golden Bears dropped to 6-10 for the season and 2-3 in conference play.

Mia Nicholes (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) added 23 kills total. Senior
Mary Kate Mooney (Royersford, Pa./Pope John Paul II) dished out 1 ace, 3 blocks and 15 digs. Sophomore
Aydan Espinal (Rock Hill, S.C./Rock Hill) led the huskies with 24 assists total, following closely behind with 14 assists total, senior
Bryn Stek (Ambler, Pa./Upper Dublin).
The Huskies controlled the game as they led in kills 64-52, aces 6-5, blocks 11-3, assists 59-51 and digs 99-97 over PSAC rival Kutztown.
The Huskies back to action on Saturday as they host Shippensburg University at Nelson Field House for a 7:00 PM PSAC match up.
