BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – After securing the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's (PSAC) automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Tournament, the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team is headed to Concord University in Athens, W. Va. for the first round of the tournament.
 
Bloomsburg earned the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic Region and will be on the road for the first round as they face the No. 6 seed and fellow member of the PSAC, Gannon University. The Huskies come into the game with a 15-4-2 overall record while the Golden Knights are 12-3-3 after nabbing at at-large bid. Gannon fell to Millersville in the PSAC semifinals, 1-0, last week.
 
The Huskies have now reached the NCAA tournament for the third-straight season. Bloomsburg won the NCAA Atlantic Region title in both 2018 and 2019 under head coach Matt Haney. This marks the 10^th appearance by the Huskies in the NCAA tournament in program history.
 
Concord will host a four-team pod in the Atlantic Region as the No. 2 seed. Concord and the No. 7 seeded Mercyhurst will face off in the first round. The winner of that game will go on to face the winner of the Bloomsburg/Gannon contest in the second round.
 
On the other side of the bracket, PSAC East foe, Kutztown University earned the No. 1 seed and a first round bye. Charleston and West Chester University will face off against each in the first round. The winner of that game will move over to face Kutztown in the second round.
 
The second-round winners will advance to the highest remaining seed in the Atlantic Region for a chance to play the winner of the East Regional in the national quarterfinals, at the same site of the third round games.
