EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg volleyball team took the first set off of East Stroudsburg but ultimately fell to the Warriors, 3-1, Friday night. The Huskies dropped to 5-21 on the year and 3-10 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East contests, while the Warriors improved to 13-13 and 7-6 in the PSAC East.

The Huskies won the first set 25-19 before East Stroudsburg came back for a 25-12 win in the second and third sets before closing the match with a 25-21 win in a back-and-forth fourth set.
As a team, the Huskies hit .135 for the match with 41 kills and 20 errors on 156 attempts, while the Warriors hit .238 for the match with 57 kills and 19 errors on 160 attempts.

Bloomsburg posted double-digit kill totals in the first and fourth sets, with 15 and 12, respectively.

Leading the offense for Bloomsburg was freshman
Emma Antigua (Kimball, Minn./Kimball). Antigua had 12 kills as it was her seventh match of the year with double-digit kill totals. Junior
Liz Bopp (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) finished the day with 10 kills as she hit .231 on the day with just four errors on 26 attempts.

Aydan Espinal (Rock Hill, S.C./Rock Hill) dished out 34 assists for the match, while freshman
Hannah Robson (Charlotte, N.C./Arborbrook) collected 26 digs and three assists. Sophomore
Maura Uschock (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield) finished the day with 14 digs, and Antigua had seven.

Claire Choloux led all players with 16 kills, while Anna Coulter added 15 for the Warriors. Taylor Haan handed out 43 assists, and Makayla Baca had a team-best 23 digs for ESU.
