MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's cross country team finished 8
h overall at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships behind a pair of Top 25 finishes Saturday at Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course in Mansfield.
The Huskies finished the day with 263 points as
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) and
Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) earned All-PSAC Second Team honors with their placements. Keeley picked up her fourth consecutive all-conference accolade, finishing 24
th overall with a time of 23:42.0. Selheimer earned her first All-PSAC award as Bloomsburg's top finisher, placing 18
th with a time of 23:20.7.
The Huskies placed two more runners in the Top 50 in
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) and
Brianna Dumond (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area).
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) was 44
th (24:26.9) and Dumond placed 48
th (24:30.1).
Sarah Sweet (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prepatory) rounded out Bloomsburg's Top 5 finishers and placed 56
th with a time of 24:43.3.
Jaime Diedel (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) was right behind Sweet, finishing 57
th overall with her mark of 24:44.1.
Behind Diedel finishing seventh for the Huskies was
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson). Kelley placed 70
th with a time of 25:09.5.
Edinboro (81 points) won the event, which was a tight finish between three teams. The Fighting Scots won their fourth straight title, however, edging out Seton Hill (87 points) and Lock Haven (98 points) to capture the conference title.
