WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team's five-game winning streak was snapped by No. 5 West Chester University as the Huskies fell to the Golden Rams, 24-6, Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Rams got off to a quick start as they rattled off six-straight goals over the first nine minutes of action.
Amanda Stoll (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) got the Huskies on the board to halt the WCU run with her seventh season goal with 2:44 to play in the first quarter. Hannah Stanislawczyk answered for the Golden Rams on their next possession, but
Madison Coyle (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) cut the lead to 7-2 at the 1:41 mark, thanks to an assist from
Kelsey Kilgallon (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts).

West Chester ended the quarter with a pair of goals to take a 9-2 lead after the first 15 minutes of action. The Golden Rams scored twice in the second quarter before the Huskies ended the period with a pair of goals to cut the lead to 11-4 at halftime.
Kate Roberts (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman) hit the back of the net after an assist from Kilgallon before
Abby Kalish (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) ended the half with a free position goal with 43 seconds to play.

After the Golden Rams scored eight unanswered goals to break open the game in the third quarter,
Kelsey Clauss (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) found the back of the net for her first of the game with 3:57 to go in the third to cut the lead to 19-5. The Golden Rams went on a four-goal run to end the third quarter and through the fourth quarter before Clauss registered her second of the game, this time off an assist from Kalish with 3:28 to play to cut the deficit to 23-6. The Golden Rams ended the game with a goal from Chloe Ondria at the 2:06 mark to seal the 24-6 win.

West Chester out-shot the Huskies 36-12 and held a 23-10 advantage in draw controls.

Kalish led the team with a goal and an assist, while Clauss had a pair of goals. Kilgallon dished out a couple of assists while Roberts, Coyle, and Stoll scored for the Huskies. Clauss won a team-best three draw controls, and
Jada Johnson (Reading, Pa/Governor Mifflin) and
Lauren Foley (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) caused a turnover.

Foley made nine saves in the cage for the Huskies.

On Wednesday, Bloomsburg returns to Steph Pettit Stadium when the Huskies host Millersville University in a 2:00 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East contest.
