BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Huskies weren't slowed down by steady rain throughout the game as the Bloomsburg University lacrosse team rolled to a 23-4 win over Chestnut Hill, Monday afternoon.

The Huskies' 23 goals were the most in a game since Bloomsburg defeated Wilmington 24-9 in 2020.

Annie Rollins (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) got things rolling for the Huskies with her first game at the 13:23 mark. Her goal kicked off an eight-goal run for BU that was capped by Rollins second with 4:10 to play in the opening quarter. Madyson Schwartz got the Griffins on the board with her first tally of the contest with 3:07 to play, but
Kate Roberts (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman) closed out the quarter with her third of the game at the 2:31 mark. Roberts posted her first hattrick of the season will all three goals coming in the first quarter and over eight minutes.

Kelsey Clauss (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) kept the scoring going in the early part of the second she found the back of the net unassisted.
Abby Kalish (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) then got an assist from Clauss for her first of the game, and
Haley Williams (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) posted her first tally of the season with 11:12 to play. Clauss took advantage of the waning seconds of an extra-man opportunity to give the Huskies a 13-1 lead with 7:06 to play.
Tori Bruno (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) dished out back-to-back assists on Williams and Clauss's goals. Roberts scored her fourth game with 4:22 to go in the second before
Kelsey Kilgallon (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) pushed the BU lead to 15-1 at the 3:10 mark.
Chestnut Hill got one back before the end of the half as Schwartz tallied her second, this time thanks to an assist from Frances Vassallo.

Madison Coyle (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) opened a 4-0 third quarter for the Huskies as Bloomsburg got goals from Coyle, Kilgallon, Caitlin Lead, and Kalish to take a 19-2 lead with 15 minutes to play.

Amanda Stoll (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) and
Julia LaMura (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) scored back-to-back goals in the first three minutes of the final quarter before
Mia Boccippio (Hillsborough, Pa./Hillsborough) registered her first career goal with 9:50 to play. Vassallo went back-to-back for Chestnut Hill to cut the lead to 22-4, but Erin Donahue scored the game's final goal to seal the 23-4 win.
Roberts led the team with four goals and one assist while Kilgallon dished out a team-best three assists to go with her two goals. Stoll won a career-best eight draw controls while
Erika Biehl (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) led the team with four caused turnovers and four ground balls.
Lauren Foley (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) earned the win in cage for the Huskies with a pair of saves in 45 minutes.
Annie Rothacker (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley) finished out the game in goal for BU and made two saves in the final quarter.

On Friday, Bloomsburg gets back to action when the Huskies travel to Gannon University for a 4:00 pm contest in Erie, Pa.
