BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team dropped its home finale to West Chester University Saturday afternoon, 19-3.

The Huskies got on the board with 10:30 to play in the second quarter as
Madison Coyle (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) found the back of the net for the first time in the game, thanks to a quick pass from
Kate Roberts (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman).
Kelsey Kilgallon (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) cut the deficit to 8-2 with her 44
th of the season, thanks to a pass from behind the net from
Tori Bruno (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) at the 9:23 mark.

After West Chester got one back to make it 9-2 with 7:46 to play, Roberts scored one of her own as
Haley Williams (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) got her the ball in traffic and went high past the WCU goalie at the 4:46 mark.

Taylor O'Brien scored the last goal of the half with 51 seconds to play to give the Golden Rams a 10-3 advantage going into the break.

Following halftime, the Golden Rams added three more goals in the first four minutes of action to take a 13-3 lead with 10:56 to play in the third quarter. WCU tacked on three more in the quarter to extend its lead to 16-3 with 15 minutes to play. West Chester closed out the game with three goals for the 19-3 win in the final quarter.

Roberts led the Huskies with one goal and one assist for two points, while Kilgallon had one goal on her four shots.

Coyle,
Cassidy Griffin (Lake Grove, N.Y./Sachem North), and
Erika Biehl (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) all picked up four ground balls for Bloomsburg, while Biehl caused a team-best five turnovers.
Abby Kalish (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) won a team-best four draw controls, and
Amanda Stoll (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) and
Kelsey Clauss (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) each had three.

Lauren Foley (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) took the loss in net for Bloomsburg as she made 11 saves in the full 60 minutes of action.

The Huskies close out the season next Saturday as they travel to East Stroudsburg for a 12:00 pm game on April 30.

GAME NOTES
Prior to and during the game, the Huskies honored former Husky Georgia Carinci who lost her battle to breast cancer last summer. Georgia played for Bloomsburg from 2001-2004.

The Huskies collected donations in honor of Georgia for her daughter, Willow, to support all of her future endeavors.

Erika Biehl (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) reached 150 ground balls at Bloomsburg, including a career-best 53 this season. She also has 37 caused turnovers this season.
