BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team fell to #4 East Stroudsburg University 18-2 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action Tuesday afternoon.

The Warriors jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the first quarter before junior
Haley Williams (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) got the Huskies on the board with 5:58 to play.
Madison Coyle (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) took a shot on goal that was stopped by the ESU goalie, Bella Gismondi, and Williams gathered the rebound and swept the ball past the goal line on the ground to cut the deficit to 4-1.

East Stroudsburg closed out the quarter on a three-goal run to carry a 7-1 lead into the first intermission.

Annie Rollins (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) scored the first goal of the second quarter as she worked her way through the Warrior defense after a successful clear and shot in the top corner cut the lead to 7-2 with 9:57 to play in the half.

ESU ended the quarter on a five-goal run to push its lead to 12-2 in the half's final seconds. The Warriors took their 12-2 lead into halftime.

The Warriors scored three more goals in both the third and fourth quarter for the 18-2 win.

Freshman goalie
Lauren Foley (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) posted nine saves for the Huskies, while Coyle led the team with four caused turnovers. Foley picked up a team-best three ground balls as well.

Maya Fulmer (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) and
Abby Kalish (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) posted three draw controls, and Kalish and
Kate Roberts (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman) each had three shots.

The Huskies hit the road for their next two games as they start the second half of their conference schedule. Bloomsburg travels to Shepherd University on Saturday for a 1:00 pm game before heading to Kutztown on Wednesday, April 13, for a 4:00 pm contest.
