The third day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament has been once again postponed and is now the final day of the tournament. The action is now set to begin Sunday, May 8 at 9:00 am as No. 3 Bloomsburg and No. 4 Shepherd square off in an elimination game. The bracket will continue at 11:00 am with the winner of the Bloomsburg/Shepherd game taking on No. 3 (West) Mercyhurst for a chance to face No. 1 Kutztown in the championship game at 1:00 pm, with a 3:00 pm game scheduled if needed. Game 16 - 9:00 AM - No. 3 Bloomsburg vs. No. 4 Shepherd (elimination game)
Game 17 - 11:00 AM - No. 3 (W) Mercyhust vs. Winner of Game 16 (elimination game)
Game 18 - 1:00 PM - No. 1 Kutztown vs Winner of Game 17

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - Due to inclement weather, the third day of the 2022 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament is postponed until tomorrow, Saturday May 6, including the Bloomsburg University softball game against Shepherd. 

The No. 3 seeded Huskies and No. 4 Rams were scheduled to face off in an elimination game this morning at 10:00 am but rain has pushed the contest to Saturday. Game time is scheduled for the same, 10:00 am. 

The Huskies are currently 2-1 in tournament play after getting a walk-off walk to avoid elimination against Shippensburg last night in an 8-7 win. Bloomsburg opened the tournament with a 9-3 win over No. 2 Seton Hill before falling to the top seed in the East, Kutztown, 4-3, yesterday afternoon. 

Bloomsburg is currently ranked fourth in the Atlantic Region as well as the Huskies head into the final weekend of the tournament with sights on an NCAA tournament berth.
