BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Head coach Mark Bassett and the Bloomsburg University men's soccer team recently announced its 18-game schedule for the upcoming 2022 regular season. 
 
The Huskies are coming off a 9-9 season during Bassett's first year at the helm, and the team's .500 record was the program's best mark since 2015. To get off on the right foot in 2022, the men's soccer team will open up the year with three straight home games against non-conference opponents.
 
Bloomsburg's first game of the year will be against the College of Staten Island on Aug. 27 at Steph Pettit Stadium. The following week, the team hosts Goldey-Beacom and Caldwell University on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
 
The Huskies will then play two more non-conference games before opening up play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). This time, the non-conference games will be on the road as the team heads to Holy Family on Sept. 7 and Felician on Sept. 10. 
 
The team then begins conference play with an away game at Lock Haven on Sept. 14 before turning around for a home game against West Chester on Sept. 17. After playing at Shepherd on Sept. 21, the team has back-to-back home games against East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg on Sept. 24 and Sept. 28. The Huskies' next three games will then be on the road at Millersville (Oct. 1), East Stroudsburg (Oct. 5) and St. Thomas Aquinas (Oct. 12). 
 
The final stretch of the season begins with home games against Lock Haven (Oct. 15) and Shepherd (Oct. 19). The two home games are then followed up by two away games at West Chester (Oct. 22) and Shippensburg (Oct. 26), and then the Huskies wrap up the regular season with a home game against Millersville on Oct. 29.
