MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's soccer team took down Mansfield, 2-0, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup on Wednesday night as head coach
Matt Haney earned his 100th victory with the Huskies.

Bloomsburg (6-4-4, 6-3-3 PSAC East) attacked early and often in the first half, recording four shots in the opening seven minutes. Junior
Ellie Rowe (Hetlerville, Pa./Central Columbia) knocked home the opening goal in the 16th minute after receiving a cross in the box from senior
Amanda Stoll (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale). Rowe went off the post and in to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead with her second goal in as many games.

As the clock hit zero in the first half, the maroon and gold held a 10-4 advantage in shots over Mansfield (3-9-2, 2-8-2).

The Huskies extended their lead just 78 seconds into the second half as Stoll settled the ball on a corner kick before depositing it into the right side of the net for her third goal of the year.

Overall, Bloomsburg held the Mountaineers to seven shots and just three shots on goal in the contest. The Huskies finished with 26 shots and a season-high 11 shots on goal.

The victory served as the 100th career win for Haney who is in his 8th season as head coach of the Huskies. Haney becomes the third coach in Bloomsburg women's soccer history to reach 100 career wins, joining Sandy Dickson (139) and Chuck Laudermilch (104).

The Huskies return to action on Wednesday, October 25 as they host Kutztown on Senior Night at 6 p.m.
