Box Score EBENSBURG, Pa. – In their first contest of the spring season, the Bloomsburg University women's tennis team fell to Saint Francis University on Saturday evening.  
 
Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) had a competitive opening set in the No. 2 singles. McDonald fell 6-4 in the first set before a 6-1 defeat in the final set. 
 
Alese Rinker (/) also was close to victory in her second set against Saint Francis University's Mallory Thomas. After losing the first set 6-1, she closed out her day with a tighter contest, losing 6-4. 
 
Bloomsburg University women's tennis will be back in action in Williamsport on Saturday, February 18, where they will match up with Salem University for a head-to-head competition.
