BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Bloomsburg announced that it has renewed its partnership with Bigfoot Country 106.5 (FM) to broadcast all Huskies' football games, home and away, for the upcoming 2023 season. Bigfoot Country 106.5 is owned and operated by Seven Mountains Media, LLC, based in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
 
Expected to serve as the radio team for Bloomsburg football home games, once again, are long-time Huskies' broadcasters, Jim Doyle and Andy Ulicny. Joining Doyle for most road games will be Al Lonoconus.

In addition to the airing of all 11 Bloomsburg University football games, including pre-game shows, head coach Frank Sheptock will join the Morning Lookout show each Friday morning during the season to talk about the upcoming game. The relationship will also provide an opportunity for Bloomsburg fans to get an inside glimpse of their favorite coaches and student-athletes with the addition of "Husky Insider Videos."
 
"We are excited to be working with Bigfoot Country again for the 2023 Bloomsburg University football radio broadcasts," BU Director of Athletics Dr. Michael McFarland said. "The relationship over the last four years has gone extremely well, and we are looking forward to extending the partnership another year. This opportunity is great news for our current student-athletes and provides us with a tremendous recruiting tool to help entice future Huskies to wear the Maroon and Gold. This relationship also gives us unparalleled exposure to our alumni all over the world."

As part of the partnership, Bloomsburg University will also have numerous additional live promotional announcements on Bigfoot Country 106.5, allowing for the opportunity to talk about other varsity athletic programs and events happening on campus. 
 
All broadcasts of Bloomsburg University football during the 2023 season will also be available via Bigfoot Country's online stream at www.thisisbigfootcountry.com. Additional announcements on radio information for the 2023-24 Bloomsburg University men's and women's basketball seasons will be made later this summer.
 
Bigfoot Country 106.5 is centered out of Bloomsburg and provides coverage well beyond Columbia County, including Snyder, Union, Lycoming, Northumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Sullivan, Montour, Luzerne, Schuylkill, Berks, Wyoming, and Carbon counties.
