LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's track & field team collected three new Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championship qualifying times during a strong showing at the Gulden Invite and River Hawk Invitational, Saturday.

At the Gulden Invite, junior
Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run High School) earned a spot at the PSAC Championships with a fifth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run. He crossed the finish line at 15:40.47.
Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) was not far behind as he picked up a PSAC qualifying time as well with a seventh-place finish at 15:46.99.

Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) earned the third PSAC time of the day as he took seventh in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:22.22.

Finnegan Purtle (/),
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon),
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township), and
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) took fourth in the 4x400-meter relay at 3:39.60 while Richard Loughran,
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton),
Stephen Suwala (Brigantine, N.J./Cedar Creek), and
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) finished fifth in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 8:32.35.

Tepper took sixth in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:35.85 and Loughran finished seventh at 2:03.18 in the 800-meter run. Suwala finished eighth at 2:04.16.
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton) came in 10
th overall with a time of 2:04.64 and Salahudin Abdul-Hamid finished 12
th at 2:06.57.

Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) posted a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash at 51.34 and Purtle came in 10
th at 52.36. Basile finished 12
th at 52.49 and Dowell took 15
th at 52.83.
Peter Umbenhaur (Somerville, N.J./Somerville) finished 19
th overall at 57.15.

At Susquehanna, the Huskies had an impressive day in the field events. Freshman
Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) had the top performance of the day as he posted a career-best throw of 13.21 meters (43' 4.25") to take third overall.
Tyler Shotwell (/) came in 14
th with a throw of 10.40 meters (34' 1.5").

The Huskies had three top-15 performances in the long jump as
Andrew Kane (/) led the way with a jump of 6.43 meters (21' 1.25") to finish third overall.
Josh Leininger (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) came in ninth at 5.61 meters (18' 5") and
Andrew Wasilewski (Kulpmont, Pa./Mount Carmel Area High School) took 12
th at 5.35 meters (17' 6.75").

Andrew Kane (/) cleared 3.70 meters (12' 1.5") in the pole vault to take third while
Tyler Lobos (/) cleared the same height for a fifth-place finish.

Michael Stebila (/) took third overall in the high jump at 1.82 meters (5' 11.5") and 10
th in the 60-meter hurdles preliminaries at 9.75.

The Huskies return to action next Friday as they take on the Bison Open and Multi.
