BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team honored senior
Alese Rinker (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) prior to their match against Lock Haven and came away with a 6-1 win to wrap up the fall schedule. The Huskies improved to 4-1 in the fall while the Bald Eagles dropped to 1-4.

Alyssa Mazurek (McAdoo, PA/Hazleton Area) and Rinker got the Huskies off on the right foot with a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles to open the match.
Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC) and
Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) clinched the first point for Bloomsburg with a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) and
Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) finished off the sweep of doubles with a 6-1 win at No. 1.

Lily Sierka () put the Huskies up 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles and Rinker put Bloomsburg one match away from the win with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles.
Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) clinched the match for the Huskies with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.

Brooke Henry (Saint Mary's, PA/Saint Mary's Area) gave the Huskies a 5-0 lead in the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles. The Bald Eagles got one point with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 4.

Julianna Kim closed out the day for Bloomsburg with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles for the 6-1 match win.
The Huskies' competition for the fall is finished and they will return to the courts on Saturday, February 8, 2025 when they host Morgan State at the indoor courts in Hershey, Pa. The match is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start.
