SELINGSGROVE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's indoor track & field team had a strong showing in the final indoor meet of the 2024 calendar year. The Huskies posted 20 top-10 finishes, including a win in the shot put and another school record in the 60-meter hurdles.

Freshman
Abigail Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) continues to impress as she dropped her school record time in the 60-meter hurdles. Parise took second overall with a time of 9.20, .02 off of her previous best time. She also took second in the long jump with a season-best time of 5.47 meters (17' 11.5"). Both marks are PSAC Indoor Championship qualifying marks for the freshman.

Madeline Ikeler took third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.44 and Lindsey Perez finished sixth at 10.20.
Cameron Hoover (/) came in eighth overall with a time of 10.39.

Ikeler also took eighth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.38.
Megan Gambogi (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) finished third overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:29.24.

In the field events,
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) finished second overall with a jump of 1.53 meters (5' 0.25") in the high jump while
Isabella Horvath (Cresco, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) and
Victoria Wagner (/) tied for fourth with a height of 1.43 meters (4' 8.25").

Coral Shivok (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) finished sixth in the pole vault as she cleared 3.45 meters (11' 3.75 meters).

Parise led the long jump for the Huskies with her second place finish while
Lorelei Eberly (Downingtown, Pa./Coatesville Area) took fourth with a jump of 5.33 meters (17' 6").
Anika Krasnai (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) finished fifth with a leap of 5.32 meters (17' 5.5") and Messner finished sixth at 5.25 meters (17' 2.75").

Perez finished third in the triple jump with a jump of 10.55 meters (34' 7.5").

Becca Martin (Wellington, Fla./Cushing Academy) led the way in the shot put as she won the event with a toss of 12.02 meters (39' 5.25") and
Mikaela Sullivan (/) finished fifth at 11.05 meters (36' 3").
Julia Beccari (Lake Ronkonkoma, Pa./Sachem North) came in sixth overall with a throw of 10.95 meters (35' 11.25").

Briannan Eckard (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) paced the Huskies in the weight throw with a toss of 13.83 meters (45' 4.5") and Beccari finished 10
th with a throw of 11.81 meters (38' 9").

Lilly Slater (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) had a career-best day in the pentathlon with 2,297 points for an 11
th-place finish. Slater finished 10
th in the 60-meter hurdles (10.73) and 13
th in the high jump with a height of 1.32 meters (4' 4"). Slater came in 14
th in the shot put with a throw of 6.56 meters (21' 6.25") and eighth in the long jump with a jump of 4.56 meters (14' 11.5"). Slater posted a career-best time of 2:43.29 to take sixth the 800-meter run. Â

The Huskies have the rest of December off before returning to action on January 18, 2025, at the River Hawk Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University.
