BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's indoor track & field team picked up four podium finishes and is in tenth after the opening day of the PSAC Championships at the Rauch Fieldhouse at Lehigh University on Saturday.

Freshman
Abigail Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) punched her ticket to the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with time of 9.21. She is the first Husky to make it to the finals of the 60-meter hurdles since the PSAC Indoor Championships begun in 2002. Parise is seeded eighth in the final and is scheduled to race at 1 p.m.

Madeline Ikeler finished just off the podium in ninth, running a time of 9.31. Lindsey Peleaz placed 16th with a time of 9.97.

Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) claimed her third-career podium finish in the 5000 meters, running a time of 18:13.50.

The Huskies' distance medley relay squad of
Ashlyn Albright (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) Megan Gambogi (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) and
Jaime Diedel (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) earned the fourth-consecutive podium in the event, crossing the line at 12:38.64.

Natalya Heard (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) ran a time of 1:04.72 in the 400-meter to finish 18th.

In the field,
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) jumped a season-best of 5.41 meters in the long jump to finish eighth. Parise took tenth in the event with a mark of 5.27 meters while
Anika Krasnai (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) took 12th with a jump of 5.24 meters.
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) and
Lorelei Eberly (Downingtown, Pa./Coatesville Area) tied for 16th with jumps of 5.06 meters.

Briannan Eckard (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) place 13th in the weight throw with a throw of 13.89 meters.

The Huskies return to the Rauch Fieldhouse at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning for the final day of the PSAC Championships.
