LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's track and field team finished fourth out of 12 teams at the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell on Saturday while
Mikaela Sullivan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) broke the school record in the shot put.

The Huskies scored points in eight different events on Saturday, while recording three point-scorers in both the 3,000-meter and the long jump.

In the field, Sullivan broke the school record in the shot put, taking second with a throw of 12.60-meters. The sophomore is the third different thrower in as many seasons to break the shot put record.

Abby Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) posted her third straight victory in the long jump, recording a 5.59-meter jump in her final attempt.
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) finished in third with a mark of 5.33 meters which she set on her opening jump.
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) rounded out the Huskies' scorers in the event, tying for fifth with a jump of 5.27 meters. Overall, Bloomsburg scored 19.5 points in the event.

Hubler found greater success in the triple jump, taking home her second win of the season in the event. The graduate student moved up to fifth on the PSAC performance list with a jump of 11.43 meters on her last attempt.

Grace Lippincott (State College, Pa./State College Area) threw a personal-best 15.11 meters in the weight throw taking fifth in the event and ranking highest among division two competitors.

On the track,
Olivia Magagna (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) took second in her first collegiate indoor meet, running a PSAC-qualifying time of time of 17:40.46 in the 5,000-meters. The freshman currently ranks third in the PSAC.

Three Huskies earned points-scoring finishes in the 3,000-meters. In her debut with the Huskies, Alexis Tepper posted the top mark in the PSAC with a time of 10:01.20 to take second. When adjusted for banking, it is the first sub-10minute time of the season in the PSAC.
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) placed sixth with a time of 10:40.0 while
Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) took eighth with a 10:45.65.

In the 4x800-meter relay,
Ashlyn Albright (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita),
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy),
Meah Eshelman (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) and Maura Keely took sixth with a time of 10:35.15. The Huskies' 4x400-meter relay squad of Madeline Ikeler,
Kendra Stout (/), Lindsay Pelaez and
Abby Rochester (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) ran a 4:18.01 to take seventh.

Bloomsburg is back in action next weekend as they return to Bucknell for the Bison Open and Multis beginning on Friday, January 30.
