LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After an incredible debut season with the Huskies, Lexi Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Tepper earned the honor after claiming the PSAC title in the Mile, the 3,000-meter and anchoring the Huskies' championship-winning Distance Medley Relay squad. Tepper also placed second in the 800-meter as a part of her 30.5 points scored for Bloomsburg at the PSAC Championships.

The junior broke a pair of school records this season in the 800-meter and the Mile. At the Fastrack National Invitational on Friday, February 6, Tepper shattered the Huskies mile record by nearly six seconds with a time of 4:54.15. The Cherry Hill, N.J. native followed up that performance with a second school record the following week, posting a 2:15.02 in the 800-meter at the YSU Last Chance Meet.

Tepper was named the Overall Women's MVP and Outstanding Women's Track Athlete at the PSAC Championship meet. The junior also earned USTFCCCA Indoor Track and Field All-Region honors in four different events (800-meter, Mile, 3,000-meter and DMR).

It is the first time a member of the Huskies' indoor track and field team has earned a major award from the PSAC.
