BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A second-place finish from the distance medley relay and an impressive showing from
Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) in the opening events of the heptathlon highlighted a successful day for Bloomsburg men's indoor track and field at day one of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championships at Lehigh University on Sunday.

Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area),
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area),
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) and
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) took home the silver medal in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:17.56. Graham ran a 4:15.84 in the 1600-meter leg of the DMR. The split was the fastest in the field by nearly two seconds and moved the Huskies relay from fifth to second.

Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) leads the heptathlon by 11 points after four events. The junior sits at 2,901 points after finishing in the top three in each event on Sunday. Walsh took second in the 60-meter with a 7.09 before placing third in the long jump with a mark of 6.83 meters. The Old Forge native then posted back-to-back first place finishes in the shot put and high jump, respectively. Walsh won the shot put with a mark of 11.42 meters and tied for first in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.89 meters.

Michael Stebila (/) sit in 13th and 14th place, respectively, in the heptathlon.

Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run High School) finished tenth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:36.58 while
Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) placed 16th with a time of 15:45.09.

Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) ran a 51.39 in the 400-meter, finishing in 13th place.

Bloomsburg sits in eighth place after day one and will return to action for day two of the PSAC Indoor Championships at 11:30 a.m
